The stories about gators in the sewer were true. Well - sort of. On Tarris someone had had the grand idea of flushing a Tukata down the loo and thus there was a booming population of the beasts there. Cephlin harlequin of the Sith put a multi-coloured boot into the face of a young hound as it leapt from the foul smelling muck. It fell back down into the ooze with a startled yelp. Cephlin couldn’t really complain though - he had once flushed a baby Rodian away after stealing it from it's mother.

Sometimes he wondered if it had formed a caveman like society of Rodian barbarians in the sewers where it went. Probably not. It looked a bit weedy and it's mother hadn't really put up a good fight when Cephlin brained her with a plank.

Cephlin wondered for a second why he was down in the sewers. Oh yes. He was a wanted criminal and he needed to teach an acolyte some new tricks. Damn commander Wolfgang and his prejudice against insanity - the man was practically a racist. The mad were like a race too. They spoke their own language that only other crazies could understand and they all had their own customs , different for each individual and yet similar.

At last Cephlin came to the chamber the two would meet in. Large and spacious it was part of the town's drinking water supply instead of the fetid muck that was held behind the itself thick walls.

Cephlin had an idea of the nature of his pupil and he doubted that tainted waste would much delight him.
Better save any antisocial behaviour towards the cities inhabitants till after the class.

At first when Shaul was told to meet his master he was so excited he wanted to get his training underway as soon as possible but now he is walking through the sewers where the water was less then sub par which bothered him the most at first till he thought about what his master would be like if he decided to meet with him in a place like this.

As he approached the chamber where he was told he would meet his master he could taste the dark side which thankfully reassured him. Though when he took his first steps into the chamber the sight of what looked to be some kind of clown quickly washed away his feeling that maybe his master wouldn't be as bad as he originally thought. "Umm m-master?"he said behind his mask looking the man up and down utterly confused.

"Ah brilliant the apprentice has arrived - lets get on with the show"

Cephlin preformed a quick summersault wrapping one of his legs around one of the pipes dangling from the ceiling - starting to swing upside down like a pendulum

"I always find it much easier to think with blood rushing to my head."

Cephlin's eyes stared at something just behind the back of what would pass for Shall's head. If any parts of a Neti could really be called that.

"So the first question every acolytes should be asked : Have you ever dressed in a Wookie suit in order to infiltrate the Mandalorians then attempt to cause a blood feud between them and the Chiss by calling the high imperator a oversized blueberry?"

Cephlin stopped for a second.

"Well I guess that is the first question an acolyte SHOULD be asked but instead lets ask what area you wish to specialise in : Sabre combat, Basic force ability , Sorcery or Alchemy?"

The clown waited for the Neti's reply

He paused still taken back by his mentor appearance then his acrobatics and reason behind them confused and trying to understand what exactly was going on. He then cleared his mine thinking "He's a sith and strong enough to teach I doubt they'd just hand that position off to anyone. Right?"

Then Shauls master spoke out asking him a very odd question but this time Shaul was ready though still not ready for that. While trying to sort out what he was just asked the Sith clarified it for him and then asked him a actual question. "I would list my specialty under Basic Force ability." Shaul said the confusion apparent in his voice.

"Then let's go over the basics."

Cephlin reached out a hand towards the water below them.

An orb of the clear substance began to rise out of the deep and fly up towards the pair.

It began to convulse and turn shifiting into a number of forms - birds and beasts before it changed to the shape of a man.

The man began to twist and contort and even though the figure was a mere effigy made of water it still looked painfull.

"Telekenisis. The first and perhaps most important force power. You probally have some experince with it but training with a substance such as water is good for progrss as it requires you to hold concentration so that it does not spill. You see if even a little hole is opened all the water will drain from the construct and all your efforts are for naught."

Cephlin let go of telekenisis and the figure collapsed back into water. With another motion Cephlin gestured for his apprentice follow suite.

Shaul watched closely as the water twisted and changed turning into many different things before a becoming a man. The man then began to twist and turn until it was not recognizable as a person. Intrigued Shaul watched closely and observed the change.

His master then explained to him this was telekenisis he had herd about it from his previous master but never had attempted it before this may prove to be a challenge for him. "Alright master I'll I shall attempt this."His faith in his master was now restored and he gained some confidence with then without another thought he walked over to the water and began to focus the water shooting up but not forming into a orb and splashing back down into the water.

Shaul though was unready to give up after one attempt after two more tries of the water shooting up and coming back down the third one was more controlled and though it still shot up as a splash of water he was able to reform this into a orb but only for a few second before it poured back down.

While watching Cephlin flipped to the top of the pipe and began walking it like a tightrope.

"Not terrible for a first attempt. Perhaps later on you try making bubbles out of acid and holding them above your head.... branches......leaves - you know what I mean."

And then the harlequin was back down on the railings with Shal standing as would a normal person.

"Next thing would of course be lightening. Everyone knows this skill - mostly cause eveyone is REALLY angry. And quite frankly it helps. Cause basically what you have to do is get all the feeling of rage stored up inside you and then let them out in one big blast of electric fury. Just think about loggers and birds that sit there and crap on your cousins."

Cephlins gloved hands began to spark with power. Inside his brain memories of those he hated began to fill his mind - Mandalorians , Jedi , Telemarketers.

And then from his hands shot forth a mumticoloured ball of lightening connected by a stream striking into one of the bats that had flown in from the tunnel when Cephlin had neglected to shut the door after himself.

The creature immediatly dropped smoking into the pool below. The cities water might start to taste a tad strange...

Shaul watched his master disappointed in himself as he told about trying it with acid over his head making him worried if his master would make him his next victim but was relieved when he began talking about using lightening. Maybe that would be easier but then he thought about lighting striking a tree setting it able and the roots that made up his legs underneath his robe began to constrict around each other making him off balanced.

But then he remembered what his master just told him "Hmm rage huh?" Shaul stretched out his hands over the pool of water and thought about hi s exilement and how much he wanted to take revenged on his people he could feel the force gushing forward as the lighting recklessly shot out from his hand bolts flying everywhere and striking himself causing him to abruptly stop before he could catch on fire.

'Hmm I must say you are perhaps the second most angry peice of flora I have ever seen (Aside from that one sithspawned oak on Dathomir but lets not get into that shall we)"

Cephlin looked his new apprentice up and down and sighed.

"And now the final part of our basics - force fear. All sane people are naturally afraid of clowns thus I have somewhat of an advantage. It's something primal I think - like the instinct that stops people walking off cliffs or putting thier hands in bonfires. And speaking of bonfires...."

Cephlin sent mental tendrils of madness forth to tamper with the mind of Shaul. Making it seem that he was surrounded in an inferno - great gouts of false flame that formed into faces and mouths. Hissing and jeering. The attack was sudden and encompassing - exactly what was needed to open the acolytes senses. After all he would have to perform this ability himself next.

Cephlin ceased the mental assult.

"Now that you have felt the power you need to utilise it yourself and as for some reason my mind seems to be immune to tampering we need to find some one else to utilise it on. Thus we go to the city above"

The clown pointed to the door.

With his other hand a small vial of some strange purple liquid fell from Cephlin's suit and plopped discreetly into the pool below. Nothing to do with the class - Cephlin had simply never put one of his toxins in a water supply and felt that it might make for some good laughs later on.

Shaul was overwhelmed with fear as he began to panic trying to find a way out of the ring of fire but to no prevail but then as he looked around his head darting everywhere he could see faces form in the fires ghost of his past come back to taunt him to exaggerate how weak he was. Shaul fell to his knees it was just to much for him his thoughts filled with rage and fear like a animal trapped in a corner "Why! Why won't it end!" he shouted out as he extend his arm letting out a wild stream of lighting into the air at where one of the false faces had temporarily formed.
