And a bow and arrow to lug around constantly...Archery would be my form of choice, because it's a form of ranged combat that requires skill, technique, and tact.

No, but try walking around with a bow and quiver full of arrows, and see how far you get in your day.You say that like a bow and arrow weigh a thousand pounds. XD
So....you'd want ****ing magic?

Traditional Japanese Jiujitsu.
Brazilian JJ is horrible, and missed alot of stuff from the traditional one.
Interesting.I'll go with Chen style tai chi chuan.
Using rattans or what? Curious.Eskrima. Badass Fillipino sword and stick stuff.

Rattans are sticks that don't snap easily, they don't splinter easily, and all that good wood stuff. And you don't really have to use sticks to use it. I've seen Eskrima in action (with rattans used by both parties), and it's basically dual wielded sword fighting with shorter weapons.Did you read the page? They used...sticks. This form was simple in the set up because it was made for island illagers under constant thread of tribal warfare. Masters could teach the basics to a village full of regular joes, and in a few days they could kick asses with...sticks. Like, wood.

Indeed. I find it amazing that the Filipinos actually fought bayonets with that technique. In a word, epicness. Or wickedosity.

I think sniping, if it's considered a form of combat, would be kickass to master. Taking out enemies from 1000 meters? Sign me up.
Who wouldn't want to be able to do that? To watch their silent screams as they writhe on the ground taking in their last gasps of air.Masq = HK? o.O
