APPEARANCE:
Illev has a stocky, muscular build, and stands at 5'5 and weighs around 200 lbs, with broad shoulders. His skin is rough and dry, a reddish-brown tone. He is bald, with two grey chipped horns twisting back. A red bandana is tied around his left horn and his face with covered with a mess of pale, slash-like scars. He also has a swirly, out of place mustache that makes him look considerably older than he actually is. Illev has deep-set, rather squinty scarlet eyes and thick, dark brows, which are often twisted into a suspicious expression. He typically wears grey, light armor and a long, black overcoat. Illev has a thick Devarionian accent with a rather harsh sound.
ATTRIBUTES:
Illev has incredible balance and aim. He is a master with knife throwing. He is also a great shot with a blaster and a sniper. He is highly intellectual, with a love of reading. As a result, he has an abundance of random facts floating around his head that often save his life. He is very organized and thoroughly plans his bounty hunts. As a result, he often has a high success rate.
Illev could be an amazing warrior, but his head is his greatest enemy, his doubt often working against him. He is quick to anger and sensitive, words striking deep, so he overly suppresses himself, out of fear of losing control and hurting someone. He sometimes hesitates on the job, afraid of killing his target instead of just capturing them. Illev’s hesitation often endangers himself and others. He is cautious, untrusting, and paranoid. In combat and in thinking, he is slow, trying to overly analyze situations. He doesn’t take risks, like many of the other bounty hunters in his field, and as a result, often misses out on opportunities. He often holds back in combat and doesn’t put in as much effort.
PERSONALITY:
To anyone who didn't know Illev, he seemed aloof and menacing, due to his introverted nature. He is short-tempered and has a history of losing control of his anger, so he has a tendency to distance himself from society in order to keep himself level-headed. He is very cautious and organized, never entering a situation without thoroughly planning it out. Because of this, he is very controlling and bossy of the few people he does work with on occasion, wanting to ensure order. He is very deeply affected by other’s words and actions, making it difficult to keep himself under control when he is disrespected. Illev is very cynical and untrusting, letting few into his inner circle of friends.
But for the few who he does accept as friends, he shows extreme loyalty and dedication. He is extremely protective of the people he loves, especially ever since his sister was kidnapped while he sat in prison, unable to do anything about it. Illev still blames himself for that and struggles with a lot of guilt. He generally keeps to himself and much prefers the company of Phio, his Tooka, to anyone else. He is very focused and serious, and at times, comes off as grumpy, because while others distract themselves with optimism, Illev is always concerned about the future. He also has an intellectual nature and a love of reading, as it was his favorite hobby as a child. His mind is an encyclopedia of random facts that often comes in handy in his line of work.
BIOGRAPHY:
Illev was born on Devaron, into a family of highly educated doctors who had hoped to give birth to a daughter, as the females Devaronians were considered to be more civilized, intelligent, and prestigious. This was the first time Illev would disappoint them, but certainly not the last. Illev’s family was convinced that Illev wanted to be just like them, a doctor. Illev was put under high pressure as a child, constantly going through unwanted training for various surgeries. As a result, he developed excellent balance and aim. He was raised to suppress his aggressive nature, a volcano that he should not have been taught to bottle up. He grew up neglected and became a very secluded and introverted person, keeping to himself.
The only friend he had was his baby sister, Iraphi. She was always so loving to him. They developed a strong bond that helped keep him together for a while. Eventually, years of pent up emotions were released when his aunt was chewing him out for not being good enough and what a disappointment he was and he snapped...her arm, and a few other graphic details we best not dive into. He was tired of being disrespected and he just lost it for a split second--and then it was all over. He was sent to prison, only a 13 year old boy, and his family turned their backs on him. He spent most of his time in prison reading books or getting into fights. At first, the prisoners loved to beat him up, as Illev had been forbidden from aggressive activities before he was arrested, and had never learned to fight. After a sadistic Togruta slashed the heck out of his face, he learned to fight. Some of his inmates taught him well and he quickly began an impressive fighter, fighting with balance and aim that others lacked. He quickly earned respect in prison, and began learning other basic necessities of criminal life.
Unsure of his future, other than the fact that he would not UNDER ANY CONDITION become a doctor, his studied his inmates, trying to find which careers might suit him best, and he eventually decided to become a bounty hunter. Finally, after serving about 14 years in prison (Devaron’s punishment system was quite unkind), he was released. He set off on a bounty hunting career, earning a reputation of a cautious bounty hunter who always did a thorough job. After a while, he worked up the courage to return home to his family, mostly to visit his little sister, as he hadn’t seen since she was 3 years old and missed her very much. To his shock, he was informed by his family that she had been kidnapped by the Jedi Order due to her high force sensitivity, only a little while after he had been imprisoned. He headed straight off to The Temple of Eedit to retrieve her, just to find that she had not long ago fallen and became the apprentice of a Sith lord. Illev was furious at what had happened to his sister. He was never a huge fan of the Sith, but he knew that the Jedi must have put her through a lot to make her join the Sith. Illev, distraught at the fate of his sister, made a commitment to find her, no matter what the cost, and make sure that she was okay.
At the temple, he met an obnoxious and theatrical Jedi Padawan, who was very close to his sister and insisted on assisting his journey.

Phio, a lazy Tooka with green fur and stripes of aquamarine on its tail, with a tendency to claw the bottom of Ilev’s trench coat. It belonged to someone he took down and collected a bounty on, but he decided to take in the little guy, rather than leave him to become a stray on the street, or more likely, be eaten.
