Imperial Knights History Help

My next character is going to be an IK member, and I would like some help in regards to catching up on IK history. If someone could provide a few paragraphs or whatever it takes to catch me up on the history it would be very appreciated. The sooner the better, as I would like to get my next character up sooner rather than later but I urge you not to rush it. There is no need to include every thing, but the important things that would probably be in a characters history would be nice. Thanks!

Ok, let's begin.

Original leader was Doomsday, pretty good under him, but only a minor indie faction back then, few members, ect. Weiss took over and the faction took off, becoming an 'official' indie faction. However, Weiss's character assassinated in the temple bombing. Syn's character Ayumi Palopides took over then [ST]AND IT ALL WENT TO HELL[/ST]. Ayumi made the IK a ridiculous, overpowered, paycho faction. Se Weiss spearheaded the Sith operation that pretty much killed everyone off. Pros took over then and the IK was restored to its former glory under his wise leadership.

Well, I was looking for IC things that would have effected my character. Thanks for that nevertheless, there was some things I didn't now in regards to leadership. xD

To clarify, the IK started as an official indie faction at the beginning of the timeline. They became a main faction when Weiss took over. They became a regular indie faction, with no special status, after they were attacked and handily beaten.

Major plot points:

-Initial purge of the IK, when the Sith lead their coup of the Empire, which took place before this timeline officially began
-Second purge, under the leadership of Weiss and the Sith, which was an IC event. The repercussions of which are still being felt, as there are several PC IK being held captive
-Enclave on Dal Hutta, during which Pros' character gathered the scattered remnants of the IK and refocused them toward becoming a guerilla/terrorist organization in an attempt to destabilize the Sith Empire
-Pros' computer shat a turtle (this one's obviously OOC, not IC) thus forcing him to step down, leading to a (hopefully very temporary) slow down for the IK as a whole as Shiuzu tries to pull the pieces back together

No plans for his history really, I was holding off on developing that until I had more knowledge of the history of the IK. I can tell you he is going to be a Fosh though, because that's all I really have at the moment.

I forgot to add the incredibly momentous day that Gareth Voltaris (my character) rejoined the faction after years in exile. That's pretty important. Because he's pretty awesome. And he looks like two-face from the Batman movie.
