Rial Turik looked around the Aleraanian cafe which he now sat at. It was far from the type of place one would expect for a clandestine meeting since instead of being a seedy bar at night it was instead a sidewalk cafe just after lunch. He then looked at the data his contacts had gathered on the organization known as the Midnight Men and their leader. It was abysmally little considering what the group had supposedly done. All he knew as that they fought the Sith often and supported rebel groups against the Sith. He also knew that they had been attempting to build up a fleet. He only hoped that the offer of ships once Kuat was free would be enough to get the group to help him, or at the very least get a meeting out of him.

He did not come to Alderaan often, even though he would like to it was a very peaceful place, and good water too. He sat at the bar waiting for his contact to meet him, part of a new rebellion to free Kuat from the Sith. He was always glad to help out against the Sith, but he was not sure of the plan on this one. Seeing a man walk in an exact copy of how his contact was described he grabbed his glass of water taking a sip of the refreshing liquid and sat across from him not speaking, letting the man say the first word.

Rial saw a man sit down across from him. He had no slid descriptions of the Midnight Man so he did not know if this was a contact or the man himself, either way it did not matter. He maintained his lax pose taking a sip from his drink before talking striking up a conversation with the man across the table from him. He then lowered drink and in a casual voice began, "Are you from the Midnight Men." It was not a serious question, but it would start things off.

"Yes" Kyle replied taking another sip of the water, staring at the man, "And you must be Rial Turik, the leader of a certain movement." Not wanting to make anything too obvious to any eavesdroppers, he maintained his voice at a medium calm level not attracting attention on either end of the spectrum by being to loud, or quite, just blending in.

Rial did not even bother with a physical reaction, he simply stated, "Yes, I am." He then took another sip of his Alderaanian brandy. "I wish to propose a mutually beneficial alliance between our organizations," Rial stated bluntly. It was a bit odd to be talking of such sensitive information in such a public place. He would not have done it, but he knew that his voice merely faded into the hum of conversations going on all around him. He then continued, "In return for helping me and my organization remove the Sith from our world we will give you several ships as well as open up trading options for you to purchase more ships in the future. They will also not be just any ships, we will give you our newest design. These our ships are in no known record since in every battle we have killed all surviving enemies. They are also the best ships currently in their class." Rial finished his little offering and took another sip of his brandy while he waited for the response from this man.

"Interesting" Kyle said, draining the rest of his water motioning for the waiter to bring him another. A mutual alliance with some of the galaxy's best ship builders would really help out in the long run, but the hard part was always getting the sith off the planet. No matter how many people Kyle brought the sith would always outnumber them in every category, and even if they did manage to beat the sith how would they save the planet from future repercussions. "That is in interesting proposal indeed, but how do we manage to get rid of them in the first place?" Kyle continued wonderingly.

Rial smiled a little bit at the man's response. "My plan was simple really," Rial began before pausing a second, "We would free the entire sector by making it to costly for the sith to maintain a fleet in the area. Now that we may have an ally I hoped to do something that would not take years." Rial looked over at the man across the table from him trying to gauge his reaction.

"I'm listening." Kyle said, seeing the water put another glass of cool Alderaan water before him. Picking up the glass it spilled a little onto Kyle's sleeve a wet spot appearing on his trench coat. That would certainly be much easier than taking out the governor or the sith all in one fell swoop, if the man had more to add, Kyle would listen because this man had finally perked his interest.

"If we can get the support together to take down the Sith ground garrison then we can at least temporarily take control of the Kuat system. The problem is that in doing so we will invite the Sith to come back and incinerate any resistance. If we can become a large enough power that we can truly be noticed by the Republic then we have a chance to hold the system by coordinating our assault with a Republic attack somewhere else that forces the Sith the send reinforcements elsewhere. We are already in a position where we can destroy the space forces fortunately." Upon detailing his plan Rial awaited for his counterpart to hopefully propose a plan of his own that could be enacted sometime soon.

"All I can tell you now is that your alliance is agreed to, as for your plan, I will work on that with my high command and get back to you on that. But you must know your attitude of wanting to act now will do nothing but get us all killed." Kyle replied, taking a sip of his water re-adjusting the hat on his. This man only wanted and seemed like respected action, but action required timing and planning something that took patience, something Kyle was not sure this man had.

"I do not need to act now, I would prefer to use a plan that will not require years of preparation. We already have a plan that will take years and it will not require that we give away any ships." Rial kept his voice even, but the veiled threat of ending the alliance was still there.

"Well I will contact you when I have come up with a plan for freeing Kuat, but as of now I have other matters to attend to, for my second-in command has gone missing." Kyle said, his voice layered with solemnity, gulping down the rest of his water he put on his hat correctly after adjusting it several times, and said, "If we have nothing further to add we will be in touch until we meet again."

Rial smirked at his counterpart, "Actually I have something else to add." He then looked into the man's eyes to make sure he had his attention, "I can help you find your second-in-command."

Perking up kyle didn't hide his astonishment, how and why this man knew of Adriana's capture was a mystery to him, but if he could help find her he didn't care, not bothering to conceal his excitement he said very bluntly "How?!"

"We researched your organization before contacting you, and I must say I am surprised the leader would come out here. Anyway we know that you fought another shadow organization recently known as the 'Akegata.' We know this because we have the ability to tap into Sith communications at will so long as we do not overuse it. We know how to contact the Akegata, we know their contacts, we know what the Sith know." Rial maintained his hard stare on the Midnight Man now knowing he held several cards that this man wanted.

"Before you go thinking you have everything I need, I must inform you first we already know the location of their base, but any help you could give would still be very appreciated." Kyle said, immediately sitting back down.

"We can track their leader and your second-in-command. We will, however, need something in order to do so." Rial's statement was simple but it would likely greatly effect the Midnight Man

His eyes widening Kyle took a sip of his drink only to find there was none left. He really wished there was because his mouth was getting pretty dry. Leaning forward he said, "What is it you need?"

Rial new he had the alliance in the bag now. "All that i require is a base near the Kuat sector, supplies, and some monetary support. If you agree to these things then I think we should head back to my ships so that we officially iron out any details. I can also show you how we can partially predict any Akegata movements." Rial finished off his drink and waited for The Midnight Man's response.

Kyle knew if this alliance was to work out then they would have to trust each other. And Kyle now trusted this man, standing up he walked out the door hoping the other man would follow for he was about to discuss the details of the Midnight Men base in Kuat.
