Because I'm lazy, I'm direct copy-pasting from the other course's OOC thread. Anything new has a bold prefix designating new content. ie, N.C.

Any new content will be integrated into the current class, since Class No.1 is still young and has lots of chances to learn all the things.

If you've got an independent character and you've been struggling to find training, if you're a renegade Jedi or a Sith on Sabbatical, fear not!

Or fear lots, really, it's up to you.

Delun Alda is going to be running some independent FS training in the Outer Rim on a little planet called Cuthbern, near Wazta.

The curriculum covers the basics. Nothing too offensive, a mish-mash of defensive and healing-oriented abilities, and a big focus on utilitarian powers that'll help you along in your day to day lives. It's an informal setting. No payment required, you're not obligated to join any faction (and you won't be pressured to do so), and you're free to leave the class whenever you feel you've learned enough.

You also aren't going to have any wacky religion or kooky philosophies crammed down your throats. Well, you'll have some philosophy crammed down your throat - you can't exactly give someone access to the most potent force in the 'Verse without making sure they've got something resembling a moral compass first. There are no lengthy tenets to memorize and no blood rituals or anything silly like that. Just a simple, straightforward, no-nonsense approach to the Force, its practical applications, and what not to do with it. (hint: 'flying up buildings' is frowned upon, badass though it may be. Igniting the hair of door-to-door salesmen is also frowned upon, and definitely illegal.)

If you're looking to learn how to fight with lightsabers, this isn't the best place for you. If you want to learn how to fold robes, kneel, and chant 'till you go blue in the face, this is also not the place for you.

If, however, you want to learn how to rip a droid's photoreceptors out of its little metal skull and then beat it to death with its own eyes, then yep. This is the place for you.

Spoiler: Stuff you could learn.

Alter Environment (provided you have the scientific knowledge to use it)

Telekinesis (in particular advanced applications, such as manipulating relatively complex mechanisms like door locks)

Force Barrier (for when you're caught with your pants 'round your ankles and need a bit of protection)

N.C.-Force Cloak (taught by Samanya/Samael; for those times you just gotta be a sneaky sneak.)

Force Speed (because sometimes you need to run like a bitch.)

Electric Judgement (because sometimes you just need to taze a bitch so you can run like a bitch.)

Pyrokinesis (admittedly not Del's forte, more Jamall's bag, but Del can teach you the basics, in particular the bit where you keep yourself from catching fire. Not catching fire is good, kids.)

Force Weapon (because using a wrench to stop a lightsaber is cool. Beating the cheeky bastard to death with a wrench is even cooler.)

N.C.-Force Healing (taught by both Jamall and Del; for when you -really- need to keep the red stuff inside someone.)

You may also get a chance to learn the basics of Quasil, a form of Kushari martial arts with a heavy emphasis on fluid movement, evasion, and defense, rather than brute force or offense. (Which makes it the single form of Kushari martial arts that can readily be taught to less physically capable races.) The use of firearms is something he could be convinced to teach if enough people were interested.

N.C. Insofar as guns are concerned, Keller might also drop by to share some of his tricks for using conventional weaponry to its greatest effect. A little Force Speed and a little Sense goes a long way to making a marksman all the deadlier. If your lightsaber skills are lacking, this could well even the playing field for you.

I'll be looking to take on between three and five students for the course. Please be aware, this is not a 'first come, first served' arrangement.

Though I unfortunately haven't had the pleasure of buying guns from you yet, I wouldn't mind having him learn some basics of the Force and what it can do. It'll be an interesting experience for him since he doesn't even know what it is yet, or that he can use it.

Similar to DJ above, Damon has only recently discovered his Force ability and doesn't really understand it, though he is getting a good grasp on telekinesis as explained in his profile. I'd like him to join as it would be a good way to introduce him to the Force, and just maybe teach him a bit of discipline before moving on to other things.
