Need something for my character, Aizahk Ah'Riz, to do long term. So, I'm looking for a small group of indies to get into trouble with. Don't mind joining an existing crew, or perhaps we could get one started. Anybody interested?

are you looking for potentially joining a faction or just a consistent group of people?

For now, just a consistent group.

Well it's not a specific job, it'd be a group of companions. And, from what I gather about character, he's doesn't seem to be the most personable individual. So, I don't know whether that would really be his thing or not.

there are two factions i would recomend that are indie but other than that i don't know about any "crews" that fit what you're looking for.

There are a few Indi Faction that look like they might suit your character needs; IDK if that's what you're looking for. The easiest one to join (so far it looks like) are the Serpents of the Void -I think that's what their name is. It is basically a collection of pirates, smugglers, and other various groups found in the outer rim, but have no real guideline on how they should live their lives.

Inie Factions tend to be small and they would attract a tighter group of individuals. Getting consistent threads with the same people probably wouldn't be too hard. Otherwise, it sounds like your character might be better off recruiting people from the Sith roster for any anti-Jedi threads even if you don't intend to join the Sith.

@The Prophet
If you are just looking for something to do, I have a set of Missions I'd like to direct you towards that are open for anyone to join regardless of being Jedi, Sith, or Indie. They are non conflict, so your character is perfectly safe while writing, and they will focus more on an interesting story than anything else.

Check out: E-Corp Archeology Missions, and see if any of the three missions I am recruiting for tickle your fancy.

Perhaps I might have to consider a faction then.

Which ones would you recommend?

this is actually one of the points that aside from the start of the time line there have been the most indie factions.

  • Mandalorian Dominion - largest indie faction, they have their own sub forum basically. mandalorian (obviously) so if you know anything about them then you get he jyst of their existence just from their name.
  • Paladins of Mortis - long lost alternative to jedi, religious, zealous, and mostly force users. nomadic and what not. unless you have a force user or dig a lot of biblical references/character dynamics i wouldn't suggest this in my opinion.
  • Galactic Worker's Union - umm....i think they are trying to be space communists...idk.
  • the Ossein Khanate - space faring conquerers, pirates, corsairs, etc. out to carve out their part of the galaxy. (different from the void serpents, see below)
  • The Corporate Alliance - an "umbrella organizatin" that is focused on dominating the corporate and economic parts of the galaxy.
  • Voice Serpents YAAAAARRR space pirates, drinking space rum, and getting their space booty, walk the space plank!
  • Shadow Conclave clandestine organization that are composed of the most elite group of killers in the galaxy. think of a star wars version of the Assassin's Brotherhood from Assassin's Creed.
  • the Accord diverse group of individuals that are doing good for the galaxy as mercenaries.
  • Bounty Hunter's Guild - pretty self explanatory. a guild filled with bounty hunters.

Hey now, were space Vikings! Which uh.... looking at isn't really that different. Drinking, booty, all that. More space slavery and crazy hair,
less planks.

Nearly 7 foot tall women covered in blue, runic tattoos leading a bunch of hairy, fur wearing dudes into battle in a shield wall is pretty vikings.
