Hi guys, I'm looking to get up and running with my ex-Jedi http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/index.php?threads/aizahk-ahriz-iv.64343/. Plans a while ago didn't pan out, and unfortunately I ended up busy regardless. Either way, I'm back now and I'm eager to RP. I'm looking to join an independent group and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations based on my char. (Apologies for his history being a bit choppy atm) I'm not too fussed, but naturally I'm looking for a role that would involve at least some degree of combat.

Well if you are looking for combat Ha'rangir's Chosen has it in spades.

Welcome back, Prophet!

Nice to meet you! Anyway, I'll just go ahead and recommend the Accord, because we're quite active and extremely friendly. The Exchange has also just been through a rather crazed period of turmoil, but it's back and better than ever. They're currently looking for characters too. On the other hand, the Bounty Hunters' Guild also so recently got updated, and I feel that your character would do pretty interesting there. Like the Ha'rangir's Chosen, as Arclight said, both these factions are quite combat-oriented.

Although by the looks of your character, I would personally suggest the Accord. Not just being biased, but most characters there seem to have the same relaxed, chill, and independent persona Aizahk withholds. Anyway, it's all up to you. Good luck!

  • The Accord - A generally good to neutral aligned group mostly comprised of former pirates and former criminals who wish to fight for the betterment of the galaxy.
  • Ha’rangir’s Chosen - Skilled Mandalorian and non Mandalorian mercenaries profiting off of the war by playing both sides. Combat faction with a heavy focus on PvP, fighting for the highest bidder and to further their own goals.
  • The Cabal - a conglomerate of shady factors banded together for their own personal purposes, largely to increase their power and influence. They have ties in the black market, PMC, and even control their own religion.
  • The Exchange - A seedy, underground organization that caters to those who... wish to engage in less than legal pursuits.
  • The Bounty Hunter's Guild - Some individuals have walked a hard road to become the best at what they do. Whatever that may be, those skills are their's and their's alone, so if anyone is going to profit, it'll be them. These are the Bounty Hunter's, and the guild makes sure they always have the right to get the job done, and someone to watch their six.

Unbiased descriptions of the five current Indie groups. Most of the others have been mentioned already. Save for the Cabal.

While I'm personally in the Cabal at the moment, it's hard to ignore the extremely low activity, and thus I've decided to quote the BHG. I think the "capture" instead of "death" part that the BHG offers will fit your character's personality better than the Exchange, the Ha'rangir's Chosen (I'm in that, whoot) or D'Accord will. It offers the chance to be independent by default, which seems the way your character prefers to wander.

To refine his martial arts by catching criminal (and Sith) independently, while dodging social encounters with my bounty hunter (will be posted this weekend) that supports the Sith Brotherhood. Sounds like fun, no?
