Without her willing them to, her hands flicked the saber on and up, the snap-hiss of its ignition clashing with the crackling discharge as the blades met. She leveraged the tip of her saber around the attack, pushing it down to the floor, and applying enough force to keep it away to her right side, then she spun in, her arm coming close to her chest as she whipped around and to the left, blade whipping out from her core to strike in a backhanded slash towards her master's back.
She was going for distance, and to buy a few seconds of time, that was all. She didn't honestly expect the attack to hit.
