Chapter 1: Crossing the Vale

You do not know why you are called to this strange and desolate world, only that you have an unspeakable urge to explore it's surface. The instant you arrive, however, you realize something is terribly wrong. This place, once fertile and green, has in mere seconds transformed itself into a dark and desolate wasteland. Everything is what it should not be, and shadows taken shape hide around every corner. Left with only your weapons and your wits, you must traverse the Vale and find a way home...
Before your soul is lost, to wander eternity in the dark.

This is a small thread I've been thinking of doing for a while. If you're into mystery and horror (think a Alice in Wonderland/Dark Souls type story) this will probably interest you. The very first part is the discovery of what exactly the vale is, as well as why you can access it. (There is supposed to be a final boss battle before you can leave.)

This will probably be started up tonight after work. I'll tag you. If there are no issues, I'll be controlling most of the NPC enemies. There will be a final boss battle as mentioned, which I don't plan on making easy, even on my own character :). Join with whomever you'd like.
