The Guavian Death Gang

We know them, we hate love them. This faction will aim to explore the origins of the Guavian Death Gang in our own fanon universe, exploring some of the 'Street Crime' elements of Star Wars, evolving into Mercenary and Raider style work. With a simple structure, the Guavian Death Gang will simply see how far we can get in our efforts whilst evolving with the wider story on the site.

With a heavy influence on some of the Gangs we see in Street Crime thrillers, as well as an aesthetic drawn from 'Mad Max' we will be looking at the grimy side of crime, but also have a strong PvP focus. Joining up, you can expect pit combat, stims, and of course, a nice but of Slavery.

Formed by a loose collection of Hutta based Gang-Bangers, the Guavian Death Gang marks the first major attempt for a Gang of none-Hutt sentient beings to strike out on their own on the Glorious Jewel of Hutt Space. Formed as little more than an informal cooperation agreement between a collection street thugs and stim-warriors from the pits, the Guavian Gang formed officially by walking into the final meeting with their Hutt Overseer, and terminating their contract in a rather permanent way. Finishing their meeting in the custom way, they presented gifts to their employers, produce weapons from the scan proof crates, and obliterating their employer, and his guard in a single strike.

Destroying the Palace, the self-elected leader of the Gang took up the title of their former master, Overlord and commanded that the Palace be burned so that the "Hutt Council itself could bask in its glow.". Freeing the stim-warriors and protectors of the Hutts and enlisting them into the Gang, they made a break for the wastes to the south of the Palace, taking control of an outcrop they named The Bastion and outfitting it for their purposes. It is here that the gang has remained, under the absolute control of its Overlord, striking out at those around them, determined to upset the balance that has kept them down for so long.

The gang follows an incredibly simple structure, consisting of three tiers. The base level is 'Ganger', the rank and file members of the Death Gang, all who pledge themselves to a 'Packmaster' who in turn pledge themselves to the 'Overlord'. All Packmasters act with total autonomy required only to adhere to the following two rules:

1 - When summoned to a Muster, attend and join your Brothers & Sisters in the struggle for which the Muster has been called.

2 - One fifth of the spoils must be turned over to the Overlord per month.

The Overlord is therefore kept in power by this web of Packmasters, any of whom may depose him in single combat at a moments notice. The current Overlord does not pass any laws or rules on infighting, deeming that only the strongest should survive. Due to its infancy, the Gang has no other rules or regulations.

Really gauging interest here, and of course suggestions welcome on what people would like to see added to the write-up :)

Howdy all,

So this is very much in its infancy here, and I am interested in seeing:

  1. Who would sign up?
  2. What people think needs adding to the write-up?
  3. Any other thoughts people have around the faction and its viability.
To those of you interested in a more 'infant' Gang, just starting up, this will be an uphill struggle and could crash and burn very very quickly. So I really appreciate your feedback, and of course, guidance and involvement.

I really like the aesthetic of The Bastion and everything in general, even if this doesn't become a small faction it would be interesting to do an RP in this setting.
