[INTEREST CHECK] Naruto Roleplay?

I know I don't post but once or twice a week, but when I do I get all my threads knocked out at once. But I really want to add some other genres to my roleplaying and where else than my childhood? One of my favorite genres would have to be Naruto. I've got a character in mind I've wanted to play for a long time but ALLLLLLLLL the Naruto based forums suck and are too complicated to figure out when you're new. So I figured I'd try my hand here. Now, I don't really feel comfortable enough with the timelines to say "Lets try something before Naruto was born" and I haven't watched Boruto so I can't really relate to what happens after he grows up. So this world we play in can be at the same time as the main timeline or if you feel comfortable maybe trying to work the Ninja war that was before Naruto was born. I don't care. Heck, we can even do our own version of the story and scrap all that extra worrying. I'm flexible. Does anyone have any interest in this?

Do you guys have a specific area in mind? I want to start out as genin ready to go right to chunin. So we three can play a team? Which makes the most sense I guess. And I'd like to start somewhere in the Wind country. Whether thats the capital city or just another village somewhere within.

Sand village it is then. Here is what I propose. I want to start off when Gaara and them go to the Chunin exams under the false Kage being played by Orochimaru. We have enough for a full team -two guys, one girl, one sensei- if that's how we want to play it. Or we can all just meet independently at the exams. Though having a sensei would make that difficult so it would be easiest if someone were on their own or however we split it. But I don't care. Said sensei could also be a proctor and focus on playing more NPCS.

The big part I want to focus on changes the story. Lets say that Obito never actually had the power to switch dimensions -Izanagi-. It's the one thing in Naruto I actually really hated because of how different it was to any other power. Anyways. If Obito had actually died, he wouldn't have been able to help bring out the Nine tails and the Fourth would never have had to die to seal it away. SO, in this new world, the Fourth is alive and Naruto is raised by his father. But everything else is still pretty much the same. The Uchiha are still slaughtered. Orochimaru still plots to destroy the Leaf. Madara still wants to come back to use the Akatsuki. It all just falls a little differently.

How do we like this plan?

As an info, I will be making a character with an ocular-special jutsu. It always annoyed me in the anime and manga that, while everyone who uses Chakra is a descendant of the Sage of the Six Paths and his brother or was given chakra by them, literally the only group with an ocular jutsu that wasn't WIPED OUT was the hyuga clan. Really, there are other ocular jutsu kekkei genkai other than the three great Dōjutsu, but they're either wiped out like the Ketsuryūgan and Sharingan, or just never given a real name at all like Ranmaru's jutsu.

Cmon, i want more creepy eye shit that's not Uchiha and not "BORUTO HAS EYE JUTSU WHAAT?" >_>

Lol you’re fine. Outside of the sharingan, byakugan, and rinnegan, all eye jutsu in the show was only used in filler episodes with people whose clans were all dead. Stupid to me. Like why wouldn’t there be more eye people? I’m gonna be an eye person

Desc: Hard featured and almost always frowning, Nisa is not the prettiest girl you’d ever seen by a long shot. A gawdy, ragged scar creases from the top of her right eye, across her nose, and ends halfway down her left cheek. Her hair is unkept and long, almost down to her hips. In addition to the one on her face, she has multiple other, smaller scars from various battles she’s been in.

Personality: Angry, hot headed, and quick to judge. Nisa doesn’t have the greatest traits and isn’t the most likable person. Not aloof, but certainly annoying, she tell you straight away if she doesn’t like you. So far she’s not met anyone she likes.

Biography:
“Being special sucks. ‘Oh how can you complain Nisa you’re so popular!’ Shut up. You don’t understand anything. People only like me because I’m good at this ninja shit. And it’s not like they have many options when it comes to “getting in good” with the special people in this village. What with that red devil Gaara drifting about and his awful family attatched at the hip. I keep my head low as much as I can until the day I’m powerful enough to get out of this damn village.

I was raised by my grandmother, my father disappeared on me when I was three and my mother died of a disease when I was young. Yadad yadda so tragic, in these times who doesn’t have a sob story? The only people I know in my family are my grandmother and a couple cousins. My clan is dying out, not with a horrible tragic BANG like the Uchiha, but with a crawling whisper. And I’m supposed to be the savior of the clan, or so my grandmother tells me.

What if I don’t want to be the savior? What if I don’t want to have a million babies huh?! I’ll be myself, and everyone else will just have to deal with it!”


misc bio: Nisa is not entirely well liked by her team, but very reliable, Nisa’s only real redeeming quality is that she will go above and beyond to protect her teammates. Not overtly intelligent or tactical, she relies heavily on her Keen Sight to give her the edge in battle. Her face is marred by a large scar from a battle where her opponent attempted to take her eyes. She appears unfazed by the incident by internally is extremely off put by it and seeks security in her team.

Nisa’s hails from the Kōkei clan, a very small group of people possessing the Dōjutsu known as the Surudoi Kōkei, or the Keen Sight. The Keen Signht is a unique ocular jutsu, but not wholly unlike the other Dōjutsu. Characterized by bright blue eyes with a reddish center, the Keen Sight grants its users greatly increased perceptive abilities. Members of the Kōkei clan are able to discern movement as if it moved in slow motion, see chakra, and see clearly great distances. Their greatest passive ability, however, is their ability to see through genjutsu and illusions of all kinds. Unlike other Dōjutsu, the Keen Sight does not grant its users any special kinds of Jutsu. They cannot copy other Jutsu, they cannot see chakra points, nor can they cast genjutsu with a glance.

BIOGRAPHY

Aeryun was born in the village Hidden in the Sand. Her father and mother both were powerful warriors and settled down late into marriage some time after the Third Ninja war. Like her mother, Aeryun can use Air-jutsu which she chooses to adapt when using a bow and arrows. In time, she will also learn that her chakra can adapt Lightning as her father could, but this will not become available to her until she is much older. Aeryun strives to be just like her parents and went into becoming a Kunochi as soon as she was of age. She is rather skilled with her bow and her ninjutsu is also as skilled. Where she falls short are jutsu of the mind and as such has horrible luck when it comes to genjutsu.

Her training up throughout her Genin years were non-extraordinary. Like any other ninja of her people she was trained to kill and that was all there was to it. Her missions were simple. Her story uneventful. The real challenge would come next. Not only was she taking the Chunin exam in the coming months, but they were planning for war. Their Kage decided it was time to end the Shinobi of the Leaf. So she prepared like any other. Whether or not she succeeded in the Chunin exams were irrelevant. Her teacher ensured her and her team that they were all above that level regardless. It was all a ruse. Aeryun would see real battle now and prove to her family that she could be an elite ninja as they were....
