Interest Check on a Droid Rebellion/Uprising Faction

Basically, you guys would have to get then approved through the tech board. Although I'm kind or warry when it comes to incredibly advanced droid technology. Droids are somewhat bareboned this timeline compared to some of the stuff we see later on.

That's why I have expressed I intend on taking Grevious' quoted line as fact as of now (then again, B1's are like a downgrade if anything) and I probably won't make this faction stronger than the CIS Droid Army due to this, but still powerful, though we may come up with new and improved Droid Models to use, and may even make pavement towards the droids of the confederacy

You won't be able to start out with anything rivaling what the CIS had. That was a hidden army built by the last remaining Sith lord and tons of mega corporations with support from large chunks of the galaxy. You'd still be bound by Indie faction starting rules and have an extremely limited army and capacity.

Yes I understand that, I don't intend to start off with an gigantic Droid army, it will follow indie faction rules, Etc., what I meant about still powerful, is that it will no way rival the power and numbers of the CIS, but for our era we are in, powerful, but not enough to rival the major factions or bigger indie factions (said bigger indie factions though, we will probably catch up to if ever possible) to indie factions of similar size and smaller indie factions, is where we probably would rival unless I'm given the chance to make it rival bigger indie factions, so in short, not gonna be as of a threat of the Droid armies of the confederacy later or early in its life, but still a threat that is powerful during its existence.

Hey, more power to you. I like seeing a prospective indie leader setting reasonable expectations for his faction.

Exciting News: Iokath has been approved!, so this faction idea will be enhanced (story wise) by what I wrote there, I suggest anyone here read Iokath's planet profile if they have not (it'll give even more of an idea around this faction) Iokath will most likely be this potential factions home base due to what I have written on Iokath's profile.

Had a similar idea to this way back when, called The Gestalt. Saw some initial success, but didn't last unfortunately. My concept was perhaps more Borg-inspired, but always wanted to see a droid faction of some kind succeed on here. Not in a position to join or assist at the moment, but wish you the best of success.

Unfortunately my droid is a weirdo hippie who wishes he were a Jedi, so I don't have anyone to join with but I'm looking forward to see where this goes!

You could always work towards becoming an honorary member of the Jedi faction, not really a member persay, but someone that is thought of when people mention "jedi and friends." My Indie, once I actually get her updated, really someone needs to yell at me it's been a month since the timeskip, she hangs with the Jedi but doesn't want to be one herself. She more or less is just with them to learn how to heal herself with the Force, nothing else. Your droid could ask to help train initiates by doing mock duels, or simply ask if you could tag along on a mission or something. You don't have to be a member of a faction to be associated with or work with them.​

Meanwhile this fact of trivia is no longer canon and is considered legends, there were force using droids called: The Irom Knights, the Jedi found them as amboninations and refused to acknowledge their existence, but the Republic did and gave them a high rank in the republic army, and palpatine fully knew they existed, but allowed them to survive Order 66.
