(Interest Check) Operation Joyride

What's up my fellow rebels? I'm happy to announce a mission in development which we can strike at the Empire. This will involve highjacking a bulk freighter and employing an unorthodox tactic with it against our Imperial foes. I already asked Weiss' permission a few days ago for this op and he gave it the green light. Of course he suggested that the original place for this event to be changed and he's right.

With approval the location will be worked out hopefully. Anyway me and Bronitarian will be taking part in this story with our rebel characters. Yet there is room for one or two more role-players. If you are interested here are the requirements to join in on this adventure as followed.


1) This is a no brainier, you must have a rebel character. Of course maybe one Jedi get can involve, assuming the said-Jedi is skilled in combat.

2) You have to be sure you can stay active in posting for this mission.

3) Absence for one, or two, or even three days can be excepted but the show must go on after that.

4) If something does come up for you OOC-wise that will lead to extended delays in posting be sure to alert me or Bronitarian.

5) We will make also sure your characters will stay alive and won't let them be harmed without your consent during the story as it continues. Should you return in time they will be still there, you have my word.

In this mission we rebels will fight in close quarters against a group of mercs guarding the ship's cargo onboard, belonging to a pro-Imperial company. Then afterward pretending to be the ship's crew our characters will take this choosen vessel to an Imperial-occuiped world for the purpose we have in mind for it. I will do the NPC opposition as well. Unless objections are raised then we will find someone willing if it comes to that. Once you're in on this mission I will forward you the details in an private message on what exactly is the rebel team going to do.

Make no mistake this is not a battle nor a skrimish but a small and unusual raid that will hopefully make a big enough impact, in order to show that the rebellion is still in the fight. So if anyone has questions, concerns or wants to sign up be sure to post here on this thread or VM me. The offer is very much appreciated Nor'baal. Though unless the FLs or the Admins say no to me doing both my rebel PC and the oppostion NPC I'll stick with my original intend. If it happens I'll let you know if you're still interested.

Excellent we got a good set of characters here. I'll just keeping working on where this raid is going to happen and we will be all set. Right now I'm thinking either Onderon, Belasco, or Devaron. To put this at a vote which of these worlds do you all think should be the one to host the target we're going to hit? Or does someone have alternative choice for us to consider?

Once a candidate been decided I will forward our choice to Weiss to see if he approves it or not. Once that is settled we can begin this mission within next week hopefully.

Hello folks I'm terribly sorry that this mission hasn't started yet. It was delayed for good reason because the Battle of Naboo was announced at the time and it was decided to wait to see how the main event goes. While the Naboo fight still hasn't ended but I feel it's time to see who still interested in doing this guerrilla strike on Onderon. We could get this operation going once as soon as the outcome at Naboo is cleared. So any takers still out there?
