Perhaps she should have given more directions than 'just focus on it'. The first attempt of the nightsister in front of her was just a feint. Her focus was clearly not on the small pebble, but on the Jedi instead. That didn't sit well with Sakadi, who took this matter seriously.
When Eithni actually started trying, Sakadi frowned. What was this supposed to be? Perhaps she should've started with something more basic, such as 'sense the life around you'. Was this far too advanced already? She felt the Dark side swirling around her like a vortex now she stood open to it. It was powerful, commanding and yet nothing like that of the Sith or Dark Jedi. It was an entirely different aspect of the Force, but an aspect of it nevertheless.
It was clear to her that Eithni still had much to learn in terms of control. The girl had focused more on "levitate" than on the pebble, which became quickly evident. One could argue that the rock had atleast gone up, but so had the nightsister. Sakadi formed a fist as she reflected upon this development. Sakadi had heard the rumors; she was to be a knight soon. It meant that she eventually would have to teach others and well, she was kind of failing to do so here.
Eithni's third attempt was a bit more inventive. Instead of doing what Sakadi had told her to, she summoned her magick again. Sakadi watched closely as the green smoke sprung from one hand to the other, enveloping the small rock. Only seconds later did the rock levitate.
Sakadi had seen enough. Eithni was overjoyed, but she was far from it. With proper training, this girl could turn into a monster. It was a lot to take in. She couldn't take the nightsister to the Temple, her home. She didn't want someone she harbored feelings for to end up locked down in some Jedi prison. Neither did she want her to fall in the hands of the Sith. But the Sephi simply wasn't able to protect her. Not that she needed protection, but she still feared what the girl could become if she didn't. It made her want to leave. Distance herself again, do the thing she was good at; leaving her loved ones behind.
Her smile was burdened, but warm nevertheless. Good job. Say, was this hard to do? I mean, I've seen you fly and all, but I have no idea what the extent of your powers is. It just feels like uncharted territory to me...
Her eyes wandered off again, making way for a glazed look. The Sephi had to make up her mind. Could she leave the innocent girl behind simply because her powers could mimick the Dark side? Was she that afraid of the love-struck nightsister? She didn't want to because deep down she had discovered an awful truth. If she left the nightsister behind, she'd break her own hear as well. She feared her own emotions.
Sakadi flashed yet another smile at Eithni, before she calmly got up. She tried her best to hide her inner struggle, which wasn't hard for one with minor experience as an actress.
My ship is not far away. I think we can be there in less than an hour if we start walking now. You haven't told me yet, but where do you wish to go?
