Jedha Mission Pack
Some records claim that the Temple of the Kyber was the first temple of the Jedi. Now it lies mostly abandoned, the Guardians of the temple and pilgrims the only ones who venture into the temple. Whether or not it was our first temple is up for debate, but not so long ago it was our home. Following the destruction of Tython, the Jedi no longer have a home and are returning to Jedha, the Force is calling them back. But the temple has been left abandoned for centuries, a great deal of work is required before it can be restored to its lost glory.
MISSION 1: The Guardians

❱ Objectives: The Guardians have long been the guardians of the Temple of the Kyber. Traditionally our allies, relations had become strained when the Jedi seemingly forgot about Jedha during the war with the Sith and did little to help them during the century of peace that followed. Meet the remaining Guardians on Jedha and convince them to let the Jedi return to the temple. Make peace with them and convince them that the Jedi are here to stay and have not abandoned Jedha or the people of the Galaxy.

MISSION 2: Nests and Pests

❱ Participants: @Vinn Esper [Airen Vol] + @Fyston [Xenefious Krandar]
❱ Objectives: Only a few levels of the temple were maintained by the Guardians, who only had the resources to keep just enough of the temple from falling into disrepair so that pilgrims could pay their respects. An advance team sent in to examine the rest of the temple discovered a Barabel nest on one of the lower levels. The Barabels are exceedingly protective of their nest and the advance team barely escaped with their lives. With their nest no longer a secret, they are treating anyone entering the temple as a threat to their nest. Make contact with the Barabels and convince them that we are not their enemies and will help them keep their nest safe. If possible convince them to join the ranks of the Guardians and continue protecting the temple.

❱ Objectives: A radical ex-Guardian, known as the Elder, has found ti hard to forgive the Jedi or abandoning Jedha and has started stirring up unrest among the pilgrims visiting the Holy City. Instead of returning to their homes, they have started settling down in camps around the city and have been holding protests against the Jedi living in the Temple. The Elder claims that the Jedi have turned their back on the people and have only returned to Jedha to plunder the riches hidden within the Temple. While their protests have so far been peaceful, tensions between the pilgrims and locals are rising and the situation may turn violent at any moment. Travel to the camps and seek out the Elder. Try to understand his motivations and convince him and the pilgrims of our intentions.

❱ Objectives: The Kyber mines on Jedha are of great importance to the Jedi. One of the older caves had become home to vermin, and locals have warned the Jedi against visit the cave. They claim a demon had made the cave its home. Explore the cave, investigate the "demon" and ensure the cave if safe for any Jedi visiting to build their lightsabers.
