It's me again, been about a year since last I was on the site but figured since I am trying to push the diplomatic side of the Jedi. Figured perhaps get started with doing some business deals and make some agreements with some powerful planets. Since I don't see any movement to go for Fondor figured this would be a good step for the more diplomatically inclined Jedi.
Some ideas:
The Gathering of Interest
The wealthy of Fondor care little for the mundane problems of the galaxy, but security and safety are now the two most valuable things right now. With the Sith turning people into monsters and the concern of the Empire still being a Sith puppet state there are few allies that can be trusted to defend against the mystical powers of the Force, except for the Jedi. So the hope is to convince people of the safety the Jedi can provide and get names of influential people whose opinions will matter most in getting the world to agree to join the Jedi.

Cleaning the lanes
Pirates are the bane of everyone, and with the chaos of the galaxy right now dealing with small-time pirates seems like something that would need to take a back seat. But as Jedi, our duty is to the galaxy as a whole not just going on grand adventurers against Sith and Monsters. Sometimes small-time crooks can do more harm to the little guy than a Sith fleet five systems away. Hearing about a small shipping lane that has regularly been hit, the mission will require getting captured by the pirates so that we can capture the leaders and break their ship, freeing people and returning stolen property.

From there with these two services done for the world, we can make an open motion to the planet to request their alliance and support against the Sith.
