Jedi Awards!

Okay, now, here are the awards that shall be presented this month. Though regretfully, no one has trained two padawans to Knights as of yet, so that shall not be given out, neither will RP Master, Council, or Defeating Sith.

Indigo, recieves the Light Side award for his bravery in being captured by the Sith in a very non-cheap way, and has resisted their tortures thus far.

Thread participation goes to Khaluq Chan'drane. Shes friggin' everywhere!

And, ah fuck, I forgot, no one did anything reall heroic yet, rofl. My bad guys. Thats it for this month I guess.

In conclusion, congratulations to the winners of these, oh-so-special awards, and if you think you deserved one and didn't recieve one, don't bitch to me! :4:

Perhaps you should give out awards on a more regular basis. say every 2 weeks. im sure people dont want to wait a month. even though it gives them more time. also, having a full list of awards to give out would be good

Uhh... already have a full list of awards, and obviously we need the month thing as people didn't even have enough time to receive more than two awards. Shortening the time period would probably cause us to have numerous "no-award" weeks. People need to start being more active if they want these awards.

Well the awards dont really do anything, to be honest... All it does is raise self esteem, or lower it if you don't win anything.

Wow... I'm told that it's a great idea when I first post it here, and now that no one has gotten any awards because they're lazy I'm told the awards are silly. What would you rather have me do? RP for you? I'm trying guys, but I can't bring the faction back up to it's greatness with like three active Jedi. If the awards don't inspire you to RP just a LITTLE more, let my wrath of fury and lectures do it! I can demote, and promote as I see fit, just a little warning...

Well that battle on Hoth was going to make people be a bit more active, but looks like that got cancelled out. Oh well.

It got cancelled because it was done cheaply, and premature, if the Sith still want it to happen, and it seems they do, it's going to happen. Just AFTER the threads that have to do with it, that Ryan skipped, are finished. We're not about to start jumping plot lines.

I like the Awards idea, but there's negative in my perspective.

The Sith Killing Award, I think that one's not so good of an idea. It makes young Jedi just go for killing Sith right away, and isn't that kind of against the Jedi's Code? You're not supposed to look to fight people, but use diplomacy. I know your going to say 'people will follow the Code and only kill Sith if the situation arises, and they deserve an Award for that', but that might not be what will happen. Some of the Jedi will go looking for fights with the Sith, and in turn lots of young Jedi will be killed, and the Code will be adhered.

I don't know if I explained it enough, but yeah. Those are my thoughts on the Sith Killing Award.
