Welcome to the Republic
Min: At least two Jedi (One Knight)
Max:
Two Jedi
Mission: The Hutt have threatened the life of the Ambassador from Naboo. It is in the Republic's interest to begin relations with an outer rim world known as Naboo. It is your duty to insure safe passage of the Ambassador and his diplomats to Coruscant in order to begin talks of an Alliance and their joining of the Senate and into the Republic itself.
Reward: Potential ally to the Republic along with the gratitude of Naboo, the Jedi Council, and the entire Republic.

Do we have a leader of Naboo right now? If not, someone should make one.

Just FYI, Naboo is in the Mid Rim, not the Outer Rim, and it has no leader right now. It's a bunch of scattered settlements that aren't unified under one banner or government. The vast majority of the population is Gungans, and they still live above the surface (with some underwater stuff) in this timeline.

Do you guys think we need more Master jedi? More users having Masters? I think it might be a good idea.

More knights would be fine. Masters should be exclusively merit based, imo.

I should correct myself. More council members. There are users with great skill and they should be on the council due to their merit as a user. We need a full council.

RP-Admin note: You need more masters, not Council members. Your roster is chalk-full of Apprentices, Knights, and Council members, but you have no masters.

So I can feel cool. :CCry2:

I was hoping having that many members would mean we could have a few masters in every thread that needed one.
I don't find it terribly pressing to fill up a council now. It would make more sense to promote a mass of Jedi to upper ranks once the Bogans are deemed a threat.

Thank you. I will promote those that seem right for the position.

I will be making a thread to go over who needs to be a master.

Not sure where to post this, so I'll do so here. Some of our members are getting antsy and want more missions, so I've thought up a few simple ones. Adjust/alter as necessary.

1) All that glitters... (Illum) and Arming the light (Ruusan)
2) Min: Two Knights, Max: Four of any rank
3) While Ossus still has a vast supply of lightsaber crystals available, we must expand our holdings to ensure that we do not run out of these necessary items anytime in the foreseeable future. The world known as Illum, located in the Outer Rim territories, has been scouted and confirmed to hold a large number of crystals; however, it is near Hutt Space, and we must determine whether or not it is worth obtaining the planet for our Order. Samples should be collected. On the other hand, the world of Ruusan was recently discovered in the Mid Rim, and smugglers have reported of various lightsaber crystals on the planet's surface. Jedi should be dispatched to confirm these rumors. Criminals and hostile fauna could be present on either planet, so caution is advised.
4) Reward: New lightsaber crystals for yourselves and the Order as a whole.

1) Diplomats of shadow
2) Min: One Master or two Knights, Max: Three of any rank
3) Umbara has been a member of the Galactic Republic for thousands of years. Its close proximity with the Hutt Empire has endangered the planet and its inhabitants to the whims of the Hutts and their allies. However, they, being a secretive and proud people, are unwilling to accept the Republic's aid against the Hutts. Several Jedi have been requested to venture to the world, meet with its royalty, and convince them to house a Republic garrison on the planet.
4) Reward: Gratitude of the Republic and the knowledge that you have saved an entire race from Hutt tyranny.

1) Resuming operations
2) Min: Two of any rank, Max: Four of any rank
3) The worlds of Andara and Ieria, both located in the Andaran system of the Core Worlds, have long held a bitter rivalry. Andara has always been richer than Ieria, even though the latter has significantly more production output. Ieria has recently ceased trading operations with the Republic, citing the fact that their representative in the Senate, a Human from Andara, does not have the interests of Ieria at heart. Although Republic diplomats have moved in to remedy the situation, Republic leadership has decided that trade must continue in the meanwhile. Several Jedi have been tasked with obtaining trading permits (documents that allow ships to carry goods to and from Ieria) for Republic-aligned smugglers to continue trading operations. Jedi are to meet with a black market contact on Ieria and obtain these codes. Caution is advised, as this black market contact could be armed, dangerous, and working (secretly) with the Ierian government to root out Republic spies and smugglers.
4) Reward: Several thousand credits per individual

1) Specters from an old war
2) Min: One Master and two Knights, Max: Five Jedi of any rank
3) The Knights of Shalharra were a branch of religious warriors that served the Alsakan Union before their defeat in the Alsakan Crisis. According to our records, some in their order were Force-sensitive. Appropriate action was taken during the final days of the war between the Republic and the Union, and nearly all of the Knights were assimilated into the Republic. However, reports from smugglers and other explorers have noted that an individual, presumably an initiate in the Knights of Shalharra when it was active, has founded a refuge for Alsakans on Arbra. Reports say that they are committing filicide and masochism for their goddess, and could potentially expand their violent ways into nearby star systems. Several Jedi are being dispatched by the Council to confirm the validity of these wild accusations and take appropriate action.
4) Reward: Saving those under the control of the Alsakan survivors and the gratitude of the Jedi Council.

EDIT: One more...

1) Moving the refugees
2) Min: Three of any rank, Max: Four of any rank (NPC: Several Republic soldiers)
3) There are many gangs on Coruscant, but the Headhunters of Shalharra are considered one of the most deadly. For the past three years, they have been hunting Alsakan refugees, claiming that they are 'scum', 'fanatical environmentalists', and 'a threat to our technological advancement'. Some twenty deaths were reported prior to the Republic taking action. To minimize casualties while the Republic searches for the leadership of the Headhunters, a joint Republic-Jedi operation has been launched to transport Alsakans offworld and into the Colonies or the Mid Rim. While Republic military forces transport several former Alsakan civilians offworld by means of public transportation, Jedi agents will secretly escort several higher-ranking members of the defunct Alsakan government off of the capital by utilizing a private starship. The Headhunters have declared that they will disrupt transportation and possibly commandeer the vessels in question, so Jedi must remain vigilant during the course of this mission.
4) Reward: Gratitude of the Jedi, Republic, and ex-Alsakan refugees
