She stood up as the ship landed sound. It was the smartest thing to do in aldera's port to just park in the busiest place there was. The charters were always heavily monitored in the out of the way ports.
With footsteps so soft, making contact with the ground she suddenly realized the reality of everything. Everything was so big, yet she knew this place. There is no path now either, it was suddenly turned from a simple detective mission into a covert search and destroy for sure.
The port security would take their names. "Poo-doo" She knew this planet way too well. She stopped for a second and turned to her comrade only to realize he'd gracefully and openly just set himself up with prying eyes for his rifle was a weapon in a port where locals were anal about security.
She froze and hooded herself. They were going to ask her name... No doubt she'd been declared missing. Hell, she was probably in the holo-net news before. She could see it now.
"Diplomats' daughter still missing"
It would be the headline or something. And yea, her comrade was republic, but he was solag. They would still take her name, he didn't have government v.i.p clearance, just military clearance. Just kriffing great.
"Tell them I'm your slave. They'll ask too many questions. Watch it, I can't be discovered. Don't use my name." She half-way whispered to him as port docking authority seemed to march their way.
