This mission was different, Killeth was asigned a top secret mission. One more thing was the fact it was priority alpha. The missions he was used to were more open. He could pretty much do anything to acheive the goal. This mission, labeled Judgement Day, had so many rules. He had no squad, he could not talk about the mission, and he doesn't even know his partner yet.
"Time of arrival is 10 minutes, sir." Said the pilot.
Killeth thought about the mission that was kept hush-hush. All he knew was there was a research facility and contactr with it was lost. It was supposedly working on some artificial intellegence technolgy. He knew little about that stuff, though it seemed dangerous to him.
The ship gently landed at the rendevous point, several miles from the target facility. Here he was to meet his partner and then travel to the facility in a silent manner. He did not immediatly see the mystery partner, only the long green plane that was flanked by mountains. It was peaceful, rural areas are often like that. Killeth had a feeling the peace would soon be turned into something worst. He always felt like that before a mission, so he instinctly ignored it, assuming it was nerves.
