He could see the Private’s disdain for him in the air, but he had worked with worse people, the Private would get over it.

“No I didn’t, but neither did the guy you were trying to scare. If I were you I’d stick to old fashioned bruises; pain speaks louder than fear, unless the fear is for a loved one, but we don’t know quite enough about him to use that just yet. Shall we begin?” he asked, opening the door to the cargo hold and looking at the two cuffed men on the floor.

Trying to steady the ship Dac stayed put in the pilot's chair. He heard there was a storm heading to the region they were going to so he would have to be vigilant. But nodded to Ryan so the man could start his interrogation. It would be good to have a lead a least by the time they got to the ship.

Ryan stepped into the cargo hold, taking care not to tread on the men. He picked one of them up and sat him on a metal box. He addressed him in a blank tone,

"If you answer our questions you will leave unharmed," said Ryan, "if you don't, I wouldn't expect to leave this ship in any manner of good health."

"Torture is illegal," said the man, scared.

"So is killing people, heisting things and stealing Republic military ships," the man looked the same through Ryan's words, "you going to help?"

"I have nothing to hide."

"As you wish," he said, whipping his fist up and into the prisoners jaw, enough to get a groan of pain from him. He gestured to the private, "Continue."

They were securely within hyperspace now, and as the white lines streamed passed the forward view port, Dac unbuckled himself from the pilot's seat apon hearing the prisoners groan. Standing up he shook out his legs, trying to wake them up after the numbness of sitting to long. In truth he hated torture of any kind, it wasn't him he prefered negotiation or a straight up fight, but harming someone who was helpless was not something that he would let go, enemy or not.

Walking into the cargo hold, his back slouched, his timid personality starting to show, he waved ryan off. Pulling a seat in front of the prisoner he said, "Sir, there is without a doubt proof that you are a member of a terroist organization. This said terroist organization has commited an act against the republic and this can not be let go. If you do not help us out there is a possible sentence of death or a life time sentence on some labor camp in the middle of no where. But if you do talk, the sentence could be lessened and you may even be given a chance at a new life. The choice is yours and yours alone, choose wisely."

His tone was calm and soft not exactly that tough military captain, but that was Dac he was not a toughguy. He saw the prisoner pondering his proposly and finially a look of acceptance appearing on his face he said, "Alright I'll talk."

Ryan watched as the young private started hitting the man when the Captain came in. It did not take long for him to start talking and Ryan smiled, working together had certainly got them results.

"Go on then," he said to the man bound before him.

Loosening his shoulders Dac closed his eyes in thought, he did not know much about this man, but before anything Dac said anything he wanted to know more about said man. Apon hearing the words, I'll talk he opened his eyes bringing himself out of thought and back into the real world.

Keeping his tone at its normal level, soft and calm, Dac interrupted the man before he could say anything else, "Before you say anything else tell me about yourself and why you joined this group."

Dac hoped his good cop attitude would help make this man more comfortable, but he never knew some of these pirate guys were forced into it and others wanted a life of crime.

Slowly opening his mouth the man said, his voice as calm as Dac's, and the first words out of his mouth were, "Thank You" And after that Dac could see the man's facial expression of trying to re-call past memories.
