Just a Little Cruisin' (mission, me and The Balance)

[The Balance]

Dac was taking the table by storm, he had come in as a quiet man but he was going to leave here a rich one. He glanced over at Dacen to see him questioning the suspicious men, and gave him a thumbs up. Then turning back to the table he resumed his normal nature of being a very soft spoken person. He would come out of here at least 1000 credits richer, and then probably donate them somewhere, he had no real use for money.

Dacen noticed the thumb up and gave a thumb up back. When he looked back there was no one in the seats. He walked back to Dac and whispered to him, "The two men left. What now?"

 

[The Balance]

Dac stood up from the table grinning and thanking the men for their money. He pocketed the credits and started talking to Dacen, "Damn, I was hoping those two would...." he said as he trailed off, seeing the two men trying to slip away. "Well it must be my lucky day, there those two are" he said, as he started to trail the two men increasing his pace to keep up with them.

Dacen saw Dac run off and followed him. Quickly he pulled out a blaster pistol with a PEP attachment on it. He tried firing at the two men as they ran but kept missing. Trying not to attract attention, Dacen put the blaster away.

 

[The Balance]

Seeing Dacen fire a few shots at the men, he motion for the man to put the blaster away but saw he already did. Finaly catching up them he put his hand on one of the man's shoulder's and said, "If you don't talk to us we will have you arrested for conspiracy against the Republic."

Seeing the men turn around he said, "I'm listening." But before answering Dac waited for Dacen to catch up before questioning them

Dacen caught up to Dac and waited to begin questioning. He heard his commlink say, "Dac, Dacen, hurry up. Only ten more hours till this storm hits!" As he heard this, he told the news to Dac. After he did, he asked, "Sir, may I begin questioning these two men?"

 

[The Balance]

Dac heard the voice over the commlink and thought they had plenty of time. Apon Dacen reaching him, he pondered the man's question. True it would be good if the man got some experience in interigating, but they also had a time limit. Finaly being it was his duty to help train this man he said, "Go ahead" with a grin, hoping he had made the right decision.

As he was given the ok by Dac, Dacen prepared to ask questions. The questions he asked were, "We've heard that you pulled off some big heist. Is this true, what was it, and why did you do it?"he thought it was pretty good for a first time interrogation.

 

[The Balance]

"Like we would tell you" the man answered in a disrespectful tone.

Dac allowed himself to grin at the man's cockness, blaster still in hand he set it to stun discretly. "Says the man with a gun to his head. Now tell us or I will blow your brains out"

The clock was ticking and Dac didn't have time to waste. He needed answers and he needed them now. He was prepared to shoot and just bring this two back to the base ship and interigate their. He saw the man was procrastinating, and shouted at him, "Answer him now." Firing a warning shot that flew by the man's head.

Laughing at Dac's remark, Dacen was ready to re-ask the questions. "Answer me now or you will be terminated." was the only thing he said before he got his blaster out.

 

[The Balance]

"I got a better idea Dacen" he said shooting both of them with his gun set on stun. "Grab one and we will bring them back to the ship for interigation" Grabbing one of them by the collar he slung him along his back and started to walk toward the ship motioning for Dacen to do the same.

"Will do, sir." Dacen said while picking one of the men up and following Dac to the ship.

 

[Ols]

Lieutenant Rendar followed his quarry through Nar Shadaa. Neither Republic soldier had noticed him yet. They’d picked up his targets; he was going to have to catch up. He was dressed in regular spacer’s garb, a pistol on his hip and a vibroblade in his right boot. He suddenly saw them stop and he busied himself with an information droid. As it rambled on about the cantinas, he heard the younger soldier pull a blaster on his target. Damn, I need him alive.. He walked off, leaving the droid mid sentence. As he left, so did his targets. The soldiers were taking them into the hanger bays. He managed to catch up, putting his hand on the elder Republic soldier’s shoulder.

“Hello, I’m Lieutenant Rendar, Republic Military Special Operations. I’m afraid you’re arresting two men I must question in connection with terrorist activity.”

 

[The Balance]

Spinning around dac saw a man who announced himself as a lieutenant, smiling Dac shifted the man on his shoulder to get a better grip. Being a captain Dac outranked this man, but he would bite. "Well if you are who you say then follow us and you might be of some use." Dac replied continuing his walk toward their ship, he had a deadline to make and couldn't stop for idle conversation if he needed to question these men he would have to wait until they were back at their base ship before that.

 

[Ols]

Ryan heard him and was a little disgruntled, didn’t he realise how dangerous these men were?
“Apologies, Special Operations missions have priority Aurek. These men are suspected of being part of a terrorist cell in this area of space. We also believe they may have been involved in many terrorist actions against the Republic, I must interrogate them immediately. I also have reason to suspect that their terrorist cell was involved in the disappearance of the RNS Trinity.”

((Note…in the SW galaxy the US doesn’t exist, it’s probably more likely it would have been “Republic Navy Ship” rather than “United States Ship”))

Continuing to walk so if this man wanted to keep talking to them he would have to follow keeping calm and in a soft tone Dac said, "I realize who these men are, that is the exact reason I am taking them back to my ship, you are welcome to come if you would like." his ship in sight Dac needed an answer now or else he might just have to blow his cover in public and risk the terrorist cell hearing about the republic's actions.

 

[Ols]

Resigned to it, the commando walked with them,
“As long as I can interrogate them onboard your ship, I suppose I could join you for now. When I was handed this mission, my CO didn’t mention any other investigations at the time, how long have you been investigating this?”

 

[The Balance]

Making his way inside their ship Dac placed restraints on the two prisoners and but them in the cargo hold then moving up to the cockpit he took the pilot's seat and took off. Not speaking until he reached the edge of system he punched in the coordinates for where their base ship should be dac spoke up, "I am Captain Dac Johnson and this is private Dacen Scrace, we have been assigned to this mission for over a week now."

 

[Ols]

He listened as the Captain strapped himself in. Ryan was content to stand as the ship powered up, he had been on much more bumpy rides than this.

“I’ll introduce myself to the prisoners,” he said to the Captain, and turned to Scrace, “Private, if you wish to help my interrogation, that’s fine,” he gestured him to follow, “just a tip, in future don’t threaten to kill someone you’re interrogating, nine times out of ten they’ll call your bluff; they know as well as you do that killing them will get you no information.”

Dacen walked into the ship and to the cockpit. "You really thought I was gonna kill him? I was just scaring him." Dacen said, annoyed about having another person on this mission.
