Were can we rp at, while I know that this timeline is ending I would like to rp in an open rp. Also since I do not belong to a faction of any kind where can I rp?

So i had another question I was looking at a duel and there seemed to only been written reactions. How is a winner determined? Are there no dice/random number rolls like 1d100 to see if an attack hit?

PVP/Duels are determined through the creativity of a RP. You must write an attack in the form of the potential of an attack hitting.
EX: John threw a punch at Chris' face.
As opposed to John Punched Chris' Face.
This allows for the defender/other RPer the cahnce to defend themselves. HOWEVER, if the defender is not creative enough to think of a viable defense, that punch will land. It makes the person writing the attack all the more creative in HOW they attack rather than simply stating THAT they attacked.
EX: John had cornered Chris between the wall behind him and the stack of boxes to his left, and so John lunged at Chris from his right, where Chris would have no whe to go, but to take the lunge.
*Writing it this way would be a good way to land a hit (assuming it was set up in the previous posts), however, it still allows the defender a chance to protect himself. IE. Chris braces himself for the lunge, and as John lunges into him, Chris raises his knee into John's stomach.

It is all just writing creatively, and a good part of it is being realistic, and knowing when your character is simply not capable of shrugging off a bullet to the chest. Although, this may be the funnest way to RP a duel, some people don't acdmit their limits, and Out of Character disputes break out in which they are usually settled withut the intervention of an Admin.

I hipe that helped and that the Examples painted the appropriate picture for you ;)
