Could there ever be a scenario in which the smugglers/bounty hunters would ever start a micro war against the Jedi order? I think that could equal a lot of cool timeline moments as well as help develop characters, and best of all give indies something to do that would have impact on the timeline. Now this may not even possible idk, since i have no idea why or how this war would start. Or if anyone here would be interested in doing such a forum.

This scenario would only happen if the Bounty Hunter Guild was doing something that the Jedi would find reason to intervene in. Any other group wouldn't have enough of a force to put up a fight. Considering bounty hunters have actually worked with the Republic a lot in our established concept of this time period, that would be difficult. There are, however, apparently growing prejudices of bounty hunters as criminals. The way I would see this going is that the Republic or Jedi would try to move in on the Guild and try to restrict or arrest some of its members and the Guild would lash out in retaliation. You would have to check with the Faction leaders of both the Jedi and Guild to do this however. It would probably culminate a single battle between members of the Jedi and bounty hunters. Just an idea

Historically I think this actually happened a few times. The Mandalorians (By that time working as mercenaries) managed to make enough of a nuisance of themselves that the Jedi dispatched a rather large team to deal with them. This is how Jango Fett ended up bare handedly killing a few Jedi.

The Smugglers/Bounty hunters would have to be such a pain in the backside that the Jedi would be willing to send a large force after them.

Well, considering the Mandalorians are allied with the Republic at this point that would be difficult. Now, if their square was taken by the Sith in the future that would work. That why I suggested the guild.
