Just another day at the office.(Ra'vln Flynt's BHG Training)

[Zane]

Waking up just a few hours earlier in a cheap hotel located in one of the more slum-like areas of Coruscant. He began by showering and checking his gear, as usual. Just another normal day, he thought while attatching the last piece of armor to his civillian garb. His commlink beeped and suprised him and almost caused him to shoot a hole through the cheap wall. "Fierfek.." He swore, before sliding his helmet over his face and activating the commlink. Seeing an unfamiliar figure appear on it made him curious, "Yes? How can I help you?" He looked through his helmet into the figure..

That was several hours ago, now he was fully dressed and moved through Coruscant like a shadow. Nearly bouncing off the walls with absoloute joy, he'd recieved instructions of where he should be for training for his new job. He grinned through his helmet as he thought of this, he glanced up at the shining durasteel building. Yep, this is it. He thought to himself, remembering the picture the man had showed him on the commlink hours before. He walked up to the entrance and walked through the door, heading towards the main desk he nodded his head to the receptionist. "My name is Ra'vln Flynt, I am here for training." He was told to wait in the lobby for his trainer and did so, standing there fully armed and steeling his nerves for what was to come. He still hadn't stopped grinning, though no one could tell.

Shawn was buzzed by the receptionist when the new trainee arrived. It had been a while since the BHG had gotten some new blood, and it finally gave him something to do while his shoulder was healing after getting a slug put through it by a malfunctioning training droid, which caused him to be stuck doing paperwork that he let pile up and kept him from accompanying Ares on his mission to finally get Ozan Dagger. But that would have caused him to put this new Hunter through his paces which Shawn always thought was the best part of the training sometimes made him think he was a drill instructor in his past life, as he got up and walked out of his office and down the lift to the lobby.

Reading Mister Flynt’s file again on the way down when it finally reached the ground floor he stepped off and saw the new guy. “Mister Rav’lehnt Flynt, sorry if I messed up you’re name it’s a bit of a mouthful. Shawn Mac’Neal I’ll be you’re evaluator, and instructor for today.” He said holding out his left hand since his right was in a sling.

Rav heard the hiss of an openning turbolift and turned his masked face to the noise, watching as a man stepped out to greet him he nodded his head and chuckled at the pronunctiation of his name. "Please, call me Rav." He took the man's extended hand and shook it firmly. "A pleasure to meet you Mr. Mac'Neal." He released his grip and took note of the wounded arm, "Ouch, looks painful, what happened there?" He gestured to the arm in the sling.

“Alright Rav that’s a lot easier to say, as for this aside from bounty hunting I do a little inventing and maintenance work around the BHG’s Facilities this little number was an accident with a training droid during its maintenance. Still not quite sure how it reactivated itself but that’s one mystery to solve after you’re evaluation. If you won’t mind following me to my office I have some questions to get through before we get to the endurance test.” He said leading Rav back to the Turbolifts and after a quick retina scan the lift opened and he motioned for Rav to enter before heading up to the offices, and training area.

 

[Zane]

"Ah, I see. Sounds mysterious." Rav joked as he nodded his head and stepped into the turbolift, waiting only for a few seconds the lift hissed and reopened itself to the offices. He stepped out and motioned for Shawn to lead, "After you." He said, before following him out.

((Sorry for not posting yesterday I had a Finals report to work on.))

Shawn Lead the way to his office he keyed in the code to open the door and walked inside motioning for Rav to take one of the two seats in front of his desk. as he himself sat down in his chair and brought up his terminals display. “Alright lets get this questionnaire started?” he asked taking the time to open up Rav’s file to impute his answers in the file. “well I guess it be bad manners not to ask do you have any questions before I ask you the first question?”

Rav followed Shawn into his office, looking to the chairs he slipped his helmet off from his head, revealing his dark features. He sat in the chair and laid his helmet on the other chair and folded his arms. "Me? No, no questions. I just hope this isn't too difficult. Heh." Rav joked, leaning back in the chair.

Shawn nodded at Rav's comment “don't wory there not that hard onto the first question, Do you or have you ever enjoy killing people? Innocents or otherwise?" Shawn asked ready to type in Rav’s response.

 

[Zane]

Rav rested his arms on his chairs rests and looked across at Shawn hearing the question. "No, I don't. Only a very sick person would take pleasure in that." Rav answered, rythmically tapped his hands on the chair, lightly, awaiting the next question.

Shawn nodded at Rav’s answer. "alright onto the next question. Are you or have you ever been involved with any illegal activities that could bring trouble to the guild?"

 

[Zane]

Rav thought about this for a minute, leaning foward. He had been involved in some rather shady buisnesses. But, they were kept in the laws of the systems he was in at the time. "No, I haven't." He stated, before leaning back into his chair.

“Alright moving onto the next one, would you be willing to forsake a hunt to save a fellow guild member?" Shawn asked looking over the intelligence report on him and from what he saw he was telling the truth though he was impressed at how many jobs he has done.

 

[Zane]

Rav scratched at the side of his neck. "Hmm, I s'pose I would, yes." He answered, letting his hand go back to the arm of the chair.

"You hesitated in you're answer why?" shawn asked looking up at Rav with a raised eybrow this was usualy a question most people didn't hesitate on and he was qurious why, Rav may have an issue helping people during a hunt.

 

[Zane]

Rav sat up straighter at the question, it was true he did hesitate. "My hesitation was only because of the question, my answer was true, I would drop a bounty in order to help a fellow member. These questions are just suprising is all, although, understandable." Rav stated, leaning back into his chair.

"I see, though I don't see how they are suppriseing they are fairly straightforward questions." Shawn said looking down at his console and filled in more of the questionares makeing notes of Rav's responses. "Would you kill another hunter? Whether they did something personal to you or just got on your nerves."

 

[Zane]

"They are more of moral or sane-testing type of questions." Rav said, examining the office a bit more, before hearing the next question. "Of course I wouldn't." He answered.

"Yes they are they are ment to be sure you would fit into the guild the one time we went lax on the questions lead to a black mark in our guilds history with Ozan Dagger." Shawn said leaning forward a bit. he also sent a message to Ares a message where he wanted him to take the noobie since the questionare was done. he now awated for Ares response.

((if there are any gramatical errors or misspells I apologize to you and TJ, I have to post on my PS3 because right now my Computers motherboard went bad and I am waiting on its replacement to come.))

Rav nodded his head. "I understand." He rested his hand back on his helmet, waiting for about a minute he noticed no more questions were being asked. "That's all, I take it?" He asked, while moving and adjusting his coat, making him more comfortable.

"Yes that’s it now its the fun waiting game of one of the practice rooms to open up." he said leaning back in his chair so while we wait "this isn't part of the test questions I was wondering what made you choose to become a bounty hunter?"
