Just Another Day

Adun sat in the cafe of the Evolution, waiting for Maia to show up. It had been a while since he had seen her, and he hadn't exactly told her about what had occurred between him and Rayla in the past few weeks. He took another drink from his mug and looked down into his reflection in the dark liquid. Maybe inviting her to have coffee with him wasn't such a good idea, he had seen what happened when she got hyper. He shrugged it off. I'm sure she'll be fine. He thought. He had a lot to tell her about....and maybe she would be willing to help move their new bed into the room.

[Tristyn]

Ray sat next to him, also with a cup of coffee. She was at least drinking though,"Don't you like it? I can make more"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia had stolen a small imperial transport ship and dismantled the locator beacon before taking off to the planet the restaurant was on. She found that the Empire had a good supply of transports on Mandalore, which is where she had been after her trip to there with Adun.

Soon she'd arrived to the Galactic Evolution and docked the ship in a port and made her way to the cafeteria Adun invited her to come to. Once she had gotten there, she went inside and saw Adun and smiled. "Can I take your order?" she. said as if she was a waitress when she got over to his table. She decided she would surprise him when she got there.

 

[Algarus]

Adun smiled "No, it's fine Ray. Thank you for making it. Just wish Maia would get here." Adun went back into his thoughts, before being pulled out of them again. "Can I take your order?" He sighed and shook his head. "No, you already-" He turned and came face to face with Maia. "You little....." He laughed and hugged her tightly. "I was wondering when you'd show up! I've got so much to tell you."

 

[Tristyn]

Ray smiled after seeing her, "Hi Maia. Looks like you were right"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She smiled wide as she realized he was taking her joke almost seriously until he recognized her voice. He had started saying that she had already taken his order, but he was taken by surprise when he realized who was asking as they came face to face. The look on his face made her laugh including the comment afterwards and when he hugged her, she hugged him back. It felt nice to be with him again. "I had a feeling you'd think I was actually your waitress. And I'm sorry it took so long, I had to find the right imperial transport ship to steal and dismantle a locator beacon on it." she said smiling. She heard him say that he had a lot to tell her and she smiled eager to hear. She then also heard Rayla saying that Maia was right. Maia smiled at her before replying. "Hey Rayla. I'd hoped that you'd realize that." she said politely and calmly.

 

[Algarus]

Adun only shook his head and chuckled. "You could have just asked me to pick you up. I would have gladly done it. wouldn't want you getting hurt." He sat down and gestured to the chair in front of him. "Have a seat. Rayla was just keeping me company. She even made some coffee for us." He smiled at the Togruta. "It's been a pretty crazy month."

 

[Tristyn]

"Oh it really has. Only because I had to save Adun's ass all the time. You wouldn't believe what would've happened if hadn't been there to save him all those times", not only would he have died but he would never had been her girlfriend if she hadn't been there.

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She smiled at his comment and sat down in the chair he gestured to. "Well, that was nice of her to make coffee." she said smiling at Rayla. Maia raised her eyebrow when he said it had been a crazy month. Her month was pretty busy too.

"It's a good thing you did. I couldn't stop thinking about you guys while I was on Mandalore. Surprisingly, the Empire sent three sith there and the clan I was with actually let me fight. I was surprised as hell."

 

[Algarus]

Adun's smile faded slightly. He was glad that she her clan was accepting her, but didn't like the thought of her fighting sith. "Well, I'm glad your okay. You've been on Mandalore this whole time?"

 

[Tristyn]

"You fought Sith? and survived?" Ray was rather concerned, considering what had happened to her sister when she he a run in with them.

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

She saw Adun's smile fade and she gave a reassuring smile back. "Yeah, I have. They said that since I was a Jedi and a Mandalorian, I would be a strong fighter, which I was and I killed all of the sith without losing any of the other mandalorians."

 

[Tristyn]

Rayla gave a look to Maia showing she was surprised and impressed by her actions,"Really? I wish I could've seen it for myself"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia noticed her look and smiled. "Yeah, I wish you guys were there to see it. It was epic. I had the entire underground celebrating as I killed each one, they were so surprised... It also made the Sith's angry, so it was funny."

 

[Tristyn]

The last part disturbed Ray a bit. She knew that the Sith were no laughing matter,"Careful what you say. The Sith will know you now"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia shrugged and nodded when Rayla said that. she knew she was right. "Yeah I know. They've had bounty on my head ever since they collected my parents bounty, but I won't go into talking about that."

 

[Tristyn]

Rayla nodded and took another sip of her coffee.

 

[Algarus]

Adun sighed before smiling at Maia. "Well, just be careful. I worry about you sometimes." He looked over at Rayla before looking back at Maia. "So, Rayla and I have been sharing a room together for a while now.... And I was wanting to ask you if you'd be willing to help us move somethings in?"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

Maia returned the smile to Adun. "You've worried about me? I've been worried about both of you ever since the Mandalorians decided to accept me. I mean, after you left, I couldn't stop thinking about you." it was true, she thought about them everyday. Her smile returned to her face as he asked if she could help move things in and she realized that things had obviously been good between the two. "Yes definitely! I'd love to help moving things in." she said now eager to help them.

 

[Tristyn]

"Oh thanks that's great! It seams Adun struggles to lift even a coffee table with the Force"
