This is the best first issue of the new comics so far. I loved it. It has a great old west and samurai vibe to it. Depa Billaba is a pretty great character, and there are even hints to her Legends story (which was kinda dumb so hopefully canon makes it better if they go into it). Young Caleb is a pretty good character so far, yet still quite a bit different from the man he will become. It'll be interesting to watch him make the transition from young Caleb Dume to rebel Kanan Jarrus.
The art was top-notch. As Gaba and I were talking about a day or two ago, so much is conveyed through the art. Especially through the scene where Depa and Caleb are training in Form III at the top of a mountain.
The clones, as usual in canonical Clone Wars stories, are great too.
What was so dumb about Depa Billaba's Legend's story? I never read it.
She fell to the dark side and then was put into a coma and her story was never resolved.
Lots more details than that but it had to do with Vapaad and Mace Windu so mehhhhh.
Yea.I agree, the only ones I have really enjoyed of the comics are this and Darth Vader.

Oh Bac. Ya haven't changed a bit.Yes and no. The Legends story may serve as inspiration, but it's not the same story. So it doesn't resolve anything from Legends, it just introduces a similar concept into canon.
