After Quentell slept for serveral hours, he awoke in a bed in one of the sleeping quarters. There were two quarters and in both were two beds. Valek had helped Quentell walk to the quarter and when they reached it, Valek had left and after he was gone Quentell took a nap.
When he woke up, he dressed up and went back to the common room. "Hello." He said. "I feel much better now. I used a bit of the Force to heal myself, and Valek's medicine did work. Though I am not completely recovered, I feel much better. I can teach you, Draven. We shall begin with understanding the Force, a certain code you will have to live by, some meditation techniques and some telekinesis. It won't be real training, but see it as a slight introduction to what awaits you in the nearby future. But, before I'm gonna do any teaching, I am going to take a quick bite. I'm starving!"
Quentell smiled and looked over to Valek. "Where's the food, Valek?"
OOC: @Phil: I hope you don't mind I described the quarters and how I described Valek had helped Quentell reach the quarters.
IC: After Quentell had waken up and informed he was hungry, Valek nodded and got up from his seat and walked over to a cabinet and opening it. Inside were mostly field rations used by the Republic military that consisted of tightly sealed bags and cans, but there existed a few other items inside were already made food inside sealed containers.
"Help yourself. I can instruct the boy in the mean time, if you are fine with it."
"I am perfectly fine with that. Begin with the old Shade Order Code and meditation, and maybe even some telekinesis." Quentell instructed, and he walked over to the cabinet and collected serveral bags and rations. After he did he sat down on a seat standing by a table and put all the food he had collected on it, and he began his lunch. As he was eating, he watched Draven and Valek carefully.
"I see. There is not much room here to perform any of our powers quite yet, so we'll start easy."
With that, Valek took a deep breath before he spoke again. He was not used to speaking for so long.
"My emotion makes me, My knowledge guides me, My passion drives me, My strength enables me, My harmony balances me, I walk the shaded path."
"That is the code of the Shade, everyone has their own meaning of the code, as it is what separates us from the Jedi and their dark disinters. We do not serve the Light, nor the Dark, but instead the path we choose on the Shaded path. Do you follow?"
"Good. There is no wrong way to view the code, as both Quentell and myself have our own different views on it. While you walk the shade path, you must be aware of the choices you make, such as the one you made before we left. You could have spared the criminal, and he could have ran off and lived another day, or he could have pulled a weapon on you while your back was turned. Instead, you took his life, destroying any chances of the former options of happening. I do not see a problem with your choice, just that you need to be aware of all the choices you can make, and the consequences of each."
"And..." Quentell added. He put down the food and continued: "...Keep in mind that if you do choose to act more... Well, darker. Then that is fine, as long as you are in control of what you are doing. Never lose control over yourself and never let anger or hate, or fear, or whatever, control you. Sorry, Valek, just wanted to mention that."
He continued to eat while Valek was teaching the boy.
"No, you are correct. Both sides of the Force can be a powerful presence, but you must never let either get the better of you. Now then, I want to see what these capabilities of telekinesis you possess. Can you lift this off the table through The Force?"
Valek asked, lifting up a small can of food rations in his grip. He then set it back down, waiting for either an answer or to see if Draven could even lift it.
"You possess the power, but you do not concentrate hard enough. Now, be calm, close your eyes, and clear your head of thoughts."
Valek instructed. He knew this kid had the potential to become a wielder of the Force, and if trained right, one with the Shade. It was one step closer... one step closer to showing the Assassins the mistake they were making...
