Kill Senator Kollin

Enough is enough, said Kolin senator in attempt to ban blaster rifles. The situation's hectic, activists organised his meetings. Infiltrate docking bay 74 and assassinate Kolin when he arrives. Ironacally he hired armed mercs from The Blue Suns.

The team members have been introduced to each-other on the way to the hangar. Czerka's representative, J.J. Ming projected the holo of Senator Kolin's speech. Disappointing. One man's attempt to disarm the galaxy. Anyone could terrorize the defenseless citizens, especially in the Outer Rims where help barely arrives on time. Neither the Empire, nor the Czerka living off selling weapons could stand this mentality.
"So everything's clear. Kill the senator then go invisible, right?" Jay asked as he looked at Ming.
"Yes. But be aware, he hired protection. The Blue Suns is on board with him, according to our intel."
Jay hasn't heard about this organization for years. Private military company? They act less ruthless and more professional than Eclipse. It's a waste to kill them, they would be great assets for the Empire. There should be another way.
"I already have a plan involving gas. Any suggestions?"

Corser stood and listened to the brief. The full onyx helmet masked her face and beauty. A sword hilt perched over her shoulder as the blade remained sheathed. A smaller dagger rested across her lower back in its holster. She stood with her arms crossed. “Gas seems viable.” Pausing for a moment, she pushed through her memories to get an idea of the Blue Suns but couldn’t be sure of their identity. “I’m a decent assassin but my specialty is in infiltration and counter security measures.” The dark outfit looked secure around the chest and back and lower arms. Baggy pants were tied off in various locations to maintain maximum stealth capabilities.

After escaping the grips of the Sith, it was slightly odd to be working with them again. She disregarded the thought for now but it lingered in her thoughts. Her thoughts returned mission. “What is the breakdown the plan? We are killing during an event. Waiting until he is alone?” She paused for moment and rolled her shoulders back and adjusted an armguard bracer.

Sumas stood with his hands idly resting on the grips of his pistols, his face and features hidden behind his blue armour and T-visor. No need to let everyone know which clan he was from, especially given the fact that he was working rather closely with an imperial agent of all things. He watched the hologram of the employer, but his attention was more focused on the comments of his companions. Their job was to kill a guy...easy enough. Problem might be the Blue Suns mercs ordered to guard the damn fool. Of course it won't be an easy in-and-out job.

"Gas? Why not just shoot the guy or rig the place to blow? If we want to be extra clean we can make it look like an accident." he explained, his T-visor glancing between the two. The girl, Kassanda, asked her next question. "Yeah, some further info could help. We can get a lot more creative to keep a low profile depending on the setting." he said with a shrug, folding his arms across his chest. "Personally I wouldn't mind simply blowing the place higher than a supernova. Those Blue Suns can be a pain at times." he elaborated further, looking his gear over again.

Going in guns blazing, Sumas sounded like Jay five years ago. Now he values his own life much more. Seeing fellow agents abducted or worse because they were hotheaded changed his perspective. "Basically, the Senator's bringing his muscle with himself everywhere," Jay paused as he looked at his notes. "They are going to land in docking bay 74 tonight. We can use the element of surprise, take all their chances."

While there were huge multipliers to increase the team's chances, the Mandalorian would jeopardize Imperial citizens. Jay frowned. "Forget that immediately. We are not blowing up the spaceport over some Czerka target."

Jay reached into his pouch and retrieved special CorSec tools. "This makes anyone pass out who inhales it's gas," he said while handing them each a canister. "We need to plant these in the hangar and activate them right before we strike."

Crossing her arms, Corser listened to Imperial agent. “We could rig the gas in such a way to have minimized the civilian casualty.” She paused a moment and thought of possible tactical positions. “We could set up a kill box once the gas goes off.” She rested a hand on her hips. “But I’m open to all option. Minimizing innocent would be preferred if possible.” She eyed the blue armored the figured as she thought to herself. Why does Mandos always want to blow things up? She returned to the conversation. “Shall we move to the docking bay to get a better understanding of the task at hand?” Returning her arms to the crossed position, she moved her head in a manner to watch both of them.

"Jacob, make a left. A LEFT. We're late." Cardinal was never late to meetings, but the meeting he had just left minutes ago ran a little longer than he had expected. Cardinal took out his comm, and left a message for his dear friend Jay. "Hey i'm running a little late, but i'll be at the space port in a few minutes. I'll meet you there, i was already briefed as to what the job was, and i might have an idea as to how to get it done. Unless you and kas figured something out." The hover truck bumped as it flew through the street. Cardinal hadn't come along for the job, he had brought five of his best men, and five of his 5U-Infantry droids. He had heard that their target had hired some Blue Sun guards, and Cardinal wanted to even the odds.

The hover truck stopped as it arrived at their destination. Everyone got out, "Jay, Kas, i'm here and i brought backup."

Cardinal presented Jay that he's able to move small groups of people relatively fast. Yet he was late. "First I was surprised," Jay said. "But, seeing the manpower you brought makes it up." He liked working with the Cardinal, for very personal reasons. Back then Jay was a huge criminal, despite his efforts it's known around Navy command already.

"I will give you some gas too. We can set these up at the hangar, have them deployed when the target's there."

The ship was landing in two hours, leaving plenty of time to prepare. Some privately owned security guards stood at the hangar bay's entrance, probably expecting a calm night. "Let me take care of these fools," Jay said. "I will get the doors opened, you handle anyone inside and plant the trap."

Jay stormed to the guards. He had seen many times how officers behave with young subordinates, what they do during drilling to antagonize them. "ATTENTION SCUMBAGS!" Jay screamed. "What the hell were you thinking?!" He stood into their faces. "Hundreds wait outside! You do stand around here, with your thumb up your bottom, jeopardizing mission, protocol, civilian safety and our corporation's reputation!" The guard further from Jay moaned like he was about to say something, but he didn't get the chance. "Get out of my sight! Patrol the bottom floor where people need safety! YOU MAY NOT LEAVE YET! How are you dressed?! Is that how you treat your uniform?! Immediately shave that ugly face of yours while you have a face! GO!"

They ran down, never looked back.

Kass sat back and watched the Imperial Agent work his magic. He started yelling and scared the Kriff out of the soldiers. The ran off and allowed us to enter the build. Moving to the door, she nodded to the agent while slipping into the building. She slipped into the hanger while maintaining cover. She examined the hanger to determine where the best spot was to place the gas canister. Through extensive training in tactics and strategy, Kass knew the best positions to place the gas canisters and areas to set up a kill box to handle any surviving members.

“Jay place the canisters, there, there, there.” She pointed to various locations in the room. “That will maximize the dispersal area.” She looked over to Cardinal. “If you put your men, there, there, and there.” She waved her hand in a few directions. “We could set up a kill box to drop any soldiers not dropped by the gas. Plus, your men will be out of the blast radius.” She tightened a strap on her armor as she looked over at the two.

Cardinal nodded to Jay as he worked his magic in clearing out the hangar of guards. "Nice work buddy." Cardinal said as they moved in. He watched as Kass produced the gas canisters and gave them to Jay, directing him where to put them.

Cardinal nodded to Kass when his part came up. "Sounds good." Cardinal motioned for his private army to move in, taking up positions. "Lock and Load fellas!" Cardinal said, taking up a position as well in the back.

After placing the canisters at their places Jay beckoned his partners to follow him. He led them to the cargo bay and sealed the door.

"Now we just need to wait," Jay said. "When they come we'll press the button and hit them." Everything seemed to be in line. "You all have rebreathers, right?" Jay put on his mask.

The gas was meant to be used against the senator.

In a few minutes the target arrived, his ship landed and the door opened. His secury detail consisted over a dozen fully armed personnel.

"They are in position now. Ready... Set... Gas! Gas! Gas!"

Kassanda checked the latches on the helmet. It was pressurized but she had already worked out the range of the gas and the affected areas. If she stayed out of range, she would be okay. She readied two throwing knives in each hand in case the guards weren’t knocked out. The agent signal that the gas was a go. She slipped into the room. The guards were reacting to the gas. Some of the soldiers fell to the ground, a few other soldiers remained vigilante. The assassin moved through the side of the room and attempted to maintain a stealth posture. She laid in rest while her companions made their moves.

Cardinal watched as Jay put up the last of the gas canisters, and got up, following Jay through the cargo bay. The huge hanger doors sealed shut sealing them inside. Cardinal wondered if the plan would actually work. If it didn't they were sure to be dead.

Cardinal nodded to Jay, and put his rebreather on, his men following suit.

"Lets get this party started" Cardinal mumbled.

Cardinal watched as the doors opposite of the hanger entrance opened, and the senator's security detail rushed in. If the guards were surprised, they made up for it by immediately taking up defensive positions and firing at Cardinal's group. Cardinal heard Jay and immediately, the gas spewed forth from the canisters. It wouldn't be long before the guards would be affected by it and go down.

Cardinal and his men took down the targets one by one. Cardinal looked to his side and saw Kass running towards the men, knives in hand. Suddenly everything started to go slow for Cardinal. He watched as the guards were sliced and slashed by Kass and shot by blasterfire. It wasn't long before all the guards were dead.

Cardinal signaled for his men to cease firing. "Looks like we're finished. Where's the senator?"

Jay walked out without firing a shot. He held his CZ-MSBR blaster rifle in his hands and immediately looked for the senator. Despite the success his cheeks were red, eyebrows drawn up, rebreather working loudly.

The target was nowhere. Jay reached down to turn up the bodies, but he couldn't find him. No familiar faces.

"Lets check the ship," Jay said. "He might be hiding there."

Jay pulled Kassanda to the side for a second. "I never said I wanted a massacre, right?" He exhaled sharply. "We used gas to avoid collateral damage, like you said. Unbelievable."

In the end he shook his head and joined the stack at the ship's entrance.

"Kill the senator by any means, he's no good alive."

“The mercs were no innocent. We kept the casualties to them and the Senator. No support staff suffered an injury. I would say everything is on the up and up.” Kass’s face frowned a little under her mask as she wasn't used to killing as much as she has been over the last few months. “Plus the Blue Suns are big. They will hear of this and know your strength. Merc outfits like that respect power.” The voice wasn’t as confident as she would have preferred. She wiped the blood from her blade before sheathing it.

She walked through the slaughter and slumber party that lined the floor. Gripping the hair of a body on floor, one that she thought could be the senator, she held his head up. “Jay, this your senator?” She smiled under her Onyx helmet.

Cardinal kept his blaster out and walked over to Jay. "Sounds good, I'll leave some of my men out here to watch out for any reinforcements or law enforcement personnel." Cardinal walked towards the ship and heard Jay complain to Kass. He smirked now wasn't the time for any bickering. The job was done.

Cardinal grunted as Kass walked over to one of the bodies slumped on the floor and picked his head up claiming it to be the senator. "That's the senator? If he's alive don't kill him yet, I could use what information he has." The job was over and a huge mess was made. Cardinal nodded to the two, and walked towards the hangar door.

Jay glared at Cardinal as he approached the ship's entrance. Despite his cruelty, they were still winning. He joined the stack and tapped the man's shoulder in front of him. "Three... Two... One... Initiate."

They stormed inside the ship with weapons raised. As soon as Jay entered he turned right and took a hit from unknown direction. He grunted as he took cover, leaned out in attempt to spot who shot him. Nothing. He leaned back and used a combat mirror instead. Now he spotted it. A small auto turret pointed at his direction.

"Take out that turret!"

During the breach the senator with the two remaining guards sneaked out through the bottom, nearby Kassanda.

Kassanda turned her attention to an opening hatched. Some guards jumped from the hatch with a flash of movement, the masked human flipped his sword and stabbed it into the first guard. Whipping the blade around, she slit the wrist of the other guard. The bloodshot from the wrist of the guard. The spray splattered across the mask of the assassin. In the direction, the senator slipped through the attacks and attempted to run off. She grabbed two knives and threw one after another. A knife pierced the arm of the senator and the other flew off. The senator spun off and slide on the ground. The guard grabbed a knife from his belt and plunged it into Kassanda stomached. She exhaled as he pulled the knife out.

Cardinal waited as Jay counted down. Once he reached the number one, the team breached the ship. Jay was the first to go in with Cardinal following right behind him. Cardinal raised his blaster at no particular enemy as Jay was shot by someone, or something. Cardinal was going to ask who fired when he heard Jay say turret. "Bloody turret, a couple grenades out ta do the trick!" As Jay took cover, Cardinal took out a grenade and peeked his head out to calculate the throwing distance. "I hope it hurts!" Cardinal ran out from his cover, and threw the grenade towards the turret. He had missed by a mile. The grenade flew harmlessly over the turret, and Cardinal took a hit in the chest from the turret. The blast of the grenade and the discharge from the turret, knocked Cardinal off his feet.

Luckily, Cardinal was wearing his armor under his suit, as aways, so the bolt only shocked him. "Kark!" Cardinal yelled as he dragged himself away from the turret's aim, which tracked Cardinal and let loose another bolt, missing Cardinal by a mere foot.

The team got pinned down inside the ship. Jay looked over his shoulder to check how everyone was. He didn't see Kassanda though. "Report in, where are you?" Jay asked.

He peered at the turret again with his mirror. This area was a fatal funnel, his training dictated he couldn't stop there. They twice failed to shoot it out, Kassanda was nowhere, so Jay decided it might be best to get through this stage.

The next area after the turret was suddenly lit by a concussion grenade. Jay stormed through the turret after it went off. It tried to shoot him, but missed three times.

Jay tucked in after the turret and noticed the escape hatch.

"They are running! Go back out!"

Cardinal remained conscious, and winced as he got back on his feet. He saw Jay dash past the turret, unharmed and yelled. "Got it!" Cardinal ran back out the way they entered, he saw Kass killing the last of the guards. The senator was on the floor, crawling away from the action, a knife stuck in his arm. While the remaining guards were busy defending themselves from the vicious assassin, Cardinal strolled over to the senator. He took out the knife from his arm. The senator winced, and cried. "There's no need for any of that, I'm not going to hurt you." Cardinal played with the knife in his hand, twirling it around, before stopping it. He forgot if Jay wanted the man dead or alive. He'd wait until the the gang was done.
