Senator Rowan!

Yes?

The War, sir! It’s over!

I was born in Umbara. Deep within the Ghost Nebula, life is what you’d call a “hard time”. My parents were in the mid level cast of our cozy society, and everyday we’d think of how to raise in level. Meals were used to discuss how we’d achieve such ranks. Simple tactics such as blackmailing were common for us, and sometimes assassinating someone was also required. But in due time, we rose. Of course, it wasn’t easy, but by the time I was 17, my family was in the top levels. We had many enemies, but most were kept under leash. With my father joining the Royalty, I was sent into the best schools to finish my studies started in lesser schools. I became noted for my intelligence; I was just better at interpreting thoughts than your average Umbaran. By the time I finished my studies, I joined my father at as he was promoted to be part of the Senator body for Umbara. My father was a very wise man, and despite being quite an example of Umbaran coldness, he suffered from one simple human flaw: he loved me.

Within a few years, I thought I had what it took to be a Senator myself; personally I thought my father was doing a terrific job, but I knew I could do better. Threatening to slip his own secrets, he asked his father if he would rather have me as Senator or have our whole family thrown into the lower ranks at Umbara. It was a bold move, but my dad’s weakness prevailed: he resigned, putting my name up for succession on the job and giving me high praise and recommendation. It had been a long run, but at thirty two years old I had made it into the Senate. I wasn’t on office for long when the Alsakan Crisis broke out; those were tough times. I had to hire a personal assistant, I couldn’t trust anyone sent by my home world. But all the applications I found were… average, if anything. It was ok, I could handle things on my own pretty well, and their job didn’t require that much.

Soon enough, the Alsakan took control of Coruscant, leaving us Senators with no option but to run to Ord Mirit. Troubled times made me rethink my life, and going through all this wasn’t enough to achieve my goal of great wealth. And so I began devising and calculating what I would need to grow rich, all the while continuing with my duties as a Senator.

By the time the Alsakan Crisis was over, I decided to resign his job as Senator. I had even suffered an assassination attempt; it wasn’t worthy. And so I exchanged the power to mold the Galaxy for the power to make a fortune in the Galaxy. During my time as a Senator, I had made quite a few contacts, and made a lot of research too. I began small, opening a factory in Brentaal IV, a planet near Coruscant with excellent industries. It produced and shipped… weapons. Of course, the war was over, so why start with a weapon business now? Well, isn’t it obvious? After such a war, it was only wise to keep up with armed forces and keep any kind of rebellion under tight security. Not only that, the Republic soon confirmed my hunch was well founded; they began to explore new regions, new worlds! My technologies, vehicles and weapons would soon prove to be of use for the Republic Expansion Quest.

It wasn’t easy. It dealt greatly with researching and developing weapons of my own design, so I hired engineers and studied the subject myself. For the first ten years my life revolved around weapons and how they could be improved. Blaster Rifles were my main priority; personally slugthrowers are archaic. They’re just so loud and the bullets demand limits their use, in my opinion. But after a few years, weapons could not be the only thing I put out there, as the market started to request more gear. And a more varied array at that. Ten years ago, I started to develop technology and even went to the lengths of ships and ground vehicles. It took me a great patience to put it all together, but with the industry rising, it kind of meld together. Seriously, it was funny to see. The fortune I had lost when I dropped office and created Frontline Industries for the first time had been recovered and it had already been doubled; with the new investments, I was running in the dark with very thin economic resources again. But it took only a few years for it to pump up again, as the newly developed ships went to the Market; again, my economic resources rose.

Five years ago I hired a very skilled secretary; I have actually yet to find someone as reliable. She is not like most, despite her young age. If her record didn’t say she was Human, I might have thought she was Umbaran. But I like her; it’s hard to find such a committed and hard-working secretary, specially a Human one. Sometimes they give in to their humanitarian nature and become mushy; ”why do you do this, why you say that, what’s up with you?” Ack, I can’t take it. But not her; she follows whatever order given with distinct professionalism. Indeed, a rare asset.

But enough out of me. Enough of my life. I’m only 68 years old, and I intend to live a lot more. Life is just an adventure, and I’m making the weapons and technologies that everyone needs to survive it.

Welcome to the Frontline Industries new era.

Author's Note: Frontline Industries will be added soon. If you feel, however, that a character would fit nonetheless, PM me and we'll discuss business.

Sorry, forgot to add another two hundred words of mindless fluff...

It's the quality of the profile that counts, not the quantity.
