Kreet

Dawn of the Republic

latest

NAME: Kreet.
FACTION: The Jedi.
RANK: Jedi Knight.
SPECIES: Feeorin.
AGE: Two hundred and thirty three human years.
GENDER: Male.
HEIGHT: Seven foot, slightly shorter than an average Feeorin.
WEIGHT: Two hundred and thirty pounds.
EYES: Yellow.
HAIR: Feeorin have tentacles, but Kreet does wear gold bands on his.
SKIN: Mottled blue.
CREDITS: 1,000 Credits.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Kreet has no nose, or no nasal cavity. He can smell, however. Kreet also has a tattoo of his home world on his left breast, a reminder of where he came from.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Kreet is very in-tune with the Force, a very rare trait in Feeorin.

STRENGTH: Feeorin are volatile by nature, and Kreet is incredibly strong, many times stronger than a human.
DEXTERITY: Kreet does not rely on his ability to dodge to win a fight. Being seven feet tall does not leave you very quick. However, Kreet can run very quickly if victory is out of the question.
CONSTITUTION: Feeorin can live to be four hundred years old, and grow more powerful as they age. At over two hundred, Kreet is very healthy both physically and mentally.
INTELLIGENCE: Feeorin are not geniuses, but Kreet has studied a very long time to be a good Jedi, and has learned much along the way. He would not win a chess game, but he isn't bantha fodder.
WISDOM: Kreet has lived for hundreds of years, and has seen much. Using his many life experiences, he likes to help younger Jedi through their troubles.
CHARISMA: Kreet has the appeal of a doorknob. He is not handsome, he is blunt, and he is massive.

PERSONALITY:
The Feeorin race is not a pleasant race. They are highly impersonal and very easy to anger. Most species view the Feeorin as savage and unruly, but Kreet tries hard to change the disdain towards his race. Kreet does has a violent temperment, but he uses the Force to help him calm down and stay rational. Kreet does not think much of other's problems, unless it comes to children or Jedi younglings. Kreet sees children as a way to shape the galaxy, and tries to impart his wisdom to them. He does not do this with adults very often, as Kreet finds adults difficult and unwilling to listen.

Kreet takes pride in his physical form. He is big and he is strong, and Kreet does what he can to stay that way. He is not a Jedi that flips and spins in combat, and he views the ones that do as slightly silly. His style reflects his personality, be stronger and you will succeed. He bears a longing for his adopted home world, Odryn, at all times. However, he knows he cannot go back as the in-fighting between Feeorin is constant, and that pains him greatly.

BIOGRAPHY:
Kreet's story starts and ends with being the second Feeorin Jedi in history, the first being Jedi Master Feln. Kreet was sensitive to the Force from a young age, and was looked down upon by other Feeorin for it. Kreet knew not why, until he was old enough to understand that Jedi Master Feln has destroyed the Sanctum and many Feeorin homes in a duel. The Sanctum was a place on his homeworld where the Exalted, the leader of the Feeorin, could enter. It was immensely respected by Kreet's people, and he began to understand their disdain. Kreet eventually left his planet, Odryn, in search of a way to become a Jedi like Master Feln. He would show the galaxy that he was different, that he could assist others.

Eventually he came to the planet the Jedi Order was stationed on, and though at first the Jedi were hesitant to accept him, Kreet showed them in earnest that he truly wished to be a force of good in the galaxy. Kreet needed to right the wrongs of the last Feeorin Jedi in the eyes of his people. To this, the Jedi consented, and Kreet was trained to be a Jedi Knight. There are still times the Jedi keep Kreet out of the front lines, not wanting his volatile Feeorin blood to cause him to endanger himself, others, or cause him unrelenting anger. Kreet knows he walks a dangerous line between Good and Evil, with the Dark Side waiting for his Feeorin anger to get the best of him. For this reason, Kreet must be the most righteous Jedi possible.

FORCE POWERS:
Kreet never uses his strength in the Force for combat. He does not wield it as a weapon, knowing he could succumb to the taste of power. Kreet uses the Force as a way to feel the emotions of others, to heal those who have been wounded, and to calm himself in the heat of battle. Kreet is very strong with the force, but he knows he must be responsible at all times for his actions.

SKILLS:
Kreet is immensely powerful, due to his size and Feeorin bloodline. Due to his height, he can reach much further than most Jedi, making him dangerous in close-quarters combat. Kreet is also decent with a blaster, though by no means is he a marksman. Kreet has a decent understanding of medical equipment, and can perform battlefield first aid if necessary. Similar to Nautolans, Feeorin can use their tentacles as a sensory aide, helping him fight in the dark.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
As a Jedi Knight, Kreet has only mastered one Form of the lightsaber arts. Kreet chose to study Form V, or Djem So. This helped Kreet fight defensively and reflect blaster fire with pinpoint accuracy. It also taught Kreet to fight with a reverse grip on his lightsaber, allowing him more technical prowess with his blade.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Kreet has many strengths. He is seven feet tall, has a very long reach, and can use his massive size to his advantage. Kreet can also manipulate the Force to heal himself and others during combat, though it does take concentration and is easily disrupted. Kreet has lived for hundreds of years, allowing him to witness many fighting styles. Kreet is not easily surprised, and has limited facial features, so it is hard to tell what Kreet is thinking.

However, Kreet has many weaknesses. He is sometimes ashamed of his race, and he knows other Jedi think less of him due to being Feeorin. He is prone to fits of anger, and is very easy to rile up. He uses the Force as a way to keep his head level, but every rose has thorns. Kreet is not the most nimble being in the galaxy, and he cannot jump very high despite being very tall.

GEAR:
Kreet wears the standard Jedi robes as often as possible, and carries a blue lightsaber. His lightsaber has a slightly curved hilt which allows Kreet's large hands to hold it more comfortably. Kreet also wears gold rings around his head tentacles.

I have moved it. I wasn't sure if everything was going there, or just works in progress. How on Earth do I get rid of this thread?
