You used me as the reason we weren't ready to go last time even though I said I was ready. Launch the thread or I will, this is rediculous, Hakim's good to go, he even sent out PM's to everyone who's interested.
No I didn't, I said I wasn't sure wether you were ready yet because you hadn't posted in this thread in awhile.
He never PM'd me. I'll start it in exactly one hour because I said no matter what i'm starting it tonight, it'll be ten over here then.
Then we can finally put all this to rest.

The second thread IS a surprise attack. While, yes, it happens when hostilities in the first thread begin, it isn't logical to assume because a small group is attacking the treaty that clearly there will be a ground component unrelated to it. It takes time to realize what's going on and to the extent of it, by the time the Hutts realize they've got Republic troops on Nar Shaddaa the Republic will be all set on the ground, then the Republic fleet jumps in.
There is NO reason why there would be a huge military presence defending the generators. I highly trained and capable security force? Of course. Are they military? Most definitely. They wouldn't be able to defend the site against the Republic without reinforcements, though, which would take a little bit IC time to organize and roll out.
