As the number of slaves remaining grew thinner, Hades felt a force push against his back, making him lose his balance and stumble forward. The push had not been to knock him down, but to get his attention. Behind him a female voice called out. "You should leave now." Hades slowly turned around, top hands still holding onto the crimson blades of his lightsabers, and one lower hand wrapped around the throat of a human male, who couldn't have been older than twenty-six. Once he was facing the one who dared speak to him, he let go of his grip around the lifeless man's throat, where he collapsed on dirt below. The remaining slaves ran while Hades was distracted, past him and the Togrutan, down to the clearing below.

Hades looked the woman up and down, paying attention to how she held her blade in her hand. Finally, he spoke. "Believe me Jedi, I will be leaving soon enough, but I have some unfinished business." He channeled the pain, the death, and the fear that surrounded them. "Tell me this Jedi. Do you bleed?" He thrust out with his lower right hand, pushing out with the Force.

Faresha snarled at the woman. She had been reckless. It wouldn't happen again. She was in no shape to fight right now. But she could help. She used all of her energy to make a huge force push against her, intending to send the jedi flying- towards the other sith.

Jaleer couldn't believe his luck really it seems like the Sith were as bad as the stories said, so as he felt the Sith he was just healing beginning to gather the dark side, as the other Sith tried to kill some slaves that were escaping, running towards them as fast as possible he was able to send a force push to keep them from getting hurt. Of course this meant he was hit in the back with a force push, which he rolled with sending far away from the other Sith, an because of the force push it allowed the knight to dodge the rocks sent at him by the other Sith.

If the Sith did carry out his attack the Jedi's blade will meet with the Siths blade where it will be locked or at least keep pressure on the blade to make sure he doesn't get cut in half. Using the force to augment his strength wasn't that hard and it gave the knight time to use his pistol to fire three into the Siths chest. Ending the fight if the Sith attempted to continue his attack after throwing the rocks at him.

If not the sage will gather the force within him to prepare for the end of this fight and will allow it to build up within his body ready to use it to end the fight quickly. He wasn't sure if the down Sith had either tried to kill him or save him but the sage didn't care. He would make sure to repay her, even if he had to shave his awesome beard.

"Now come on Sith you can do better than that." He will walk slowly towards the Sith his lightsaber in front of him just in case, the fight will end soon he was sure of that, even if his back hurt from the force attack.

He'd not expected his fellow Sith to use a force push, arresting his charge he corrected his attack using the force to augment his speed he twisted his blade round as the Jedi rolled catching the Jedi's lightsaber to keep him off guard, the blaster though was a hazard, fortunate though he had the perfect answer, even if the Jedi brought up the pistol his second blade ignited coming from the butt of his saberstaff it spun up cutting the muzzle from the pistol, he stepped away blade spinning in his hands as he did giving the Jedi a chance to regain his footing.

He let the Jedi come towards him lightsaber held before him as if warding him off, all the while he built up the force within him, building on his manipulation of the stones.

He straightened blade held behind him in his left hand his right hand snapped up the force reaching out as a giant fist that would clamp round the Jedi and lifted the man up off the ground, he'd hold him in the air a few inches from the floor, slowly applying pressure to the chest area forcing the air from him.

He could kill the Jedi so easily, crush the life from his without a second thought, and even as this thought entered his head his comm link bleeped in his ear and instead of crushing the life from his opponent he would turn the force grip into a powerful push sending the Jedi through the air away from him.

His face turned into a snarl as the information filtered through from their informants observing the mansion, while the Sith had come to take care of the Jedi in the camps the two pilots that had brought them here's had been tasked with observing the mansion for any trouble there, trouble had come and their report was not positive, this was over, he'd ignore the fate of the Jedi as he moved to Faresha's side helping her to her feet.

"Come one this mission is over the slaves are gone and the master dead."

His eyes finally returned to the Jedi and locked on him.

"Until next time."

Bast descended the steps, making a hasty exit through the window in which he originally entered, the smell of smoke filling his nostrils.

The post hot-tub-murder conversation with the newly freed slave -Corday was her name- (or so he figured from the last word the slaver muttered before his untimely demise) was fulfilling, largely one sided, and ended with her setting the manor on fire.

He wasn't going to argue.

Thus he made his quick exit alone, and once more was greeted by a literal breath of fresh air from the outside desert world. The young padawan coughed, though the scratchiness of his throat was not mitigated.

"On my way, bringing gifts. What d'ya need?" He coughed once more into the comlink.

No matter their response, his eyes darted towards a particular beauty next to a slave shed, bathed in moolight as though the force was answering the question for them.

"Taking a popper and some bottled heat" he added into the link with some Jedi padawan slang. Youths and their new words. What was the world coming to?

Bast's speeder raced down the unpaved dirt road, his robes whipping in the wind as he accelerated the hunk of metal as fast as the technically minded Arkanian felt his speeder could willfully put up with.

Amaarla could sense the dark energy that Hades was gathering about him.. Her muscles tensed in preparation for what the Sith was preparing to do; undoubtedly it was not going to be good. But, she could not, and would not, turn her back on him now. As long as Hades' attention was on her, the remaining few living slaves would be able to flee. With both hands gripping the hilt of her lightsaber once more, the togruta Knight focused on the Force, drawing it in around her. She was prepared to defend herself.

"I could use some help here." Amaarla spoke, though it was not directed at Hades. It was directed towards her comrads through the comm channel they were using to keep in touch with each other, the little bud at her ear able to pick up her voice. Her gaze and attention never left Hades.

As the Jedi was pushed backwards by the Force, Hades launched himself forward. His crimson blades formed an 'X' in front of his body. Once he got close enough, he would slash downward with each blade, breaking the 'X' and attempting to dice his enemy. Since the Jedi had refused to answer his question for him, he gave up his own answer. "You will."

(OOC: If you have any issues with my post I am open to talk about it in the OOC thread.)

Jaleer watched as the Sith used the other end of his lightsaber to cut the gun in half, really it was impressive an when the foolish Sith jumped back, the sage will throw the gun into the spinning blade. The sage would jump back reaching into his belt and grabbing the single thermal detonator and activating it, waiting for a few moments he would throw it just as the Sith picked him up and began to crush him with the force. The thermal detonator would land just in front of the Sith but outside the lightsaber range, though the Sith was still in the death zone, so he would need to let go of the Jedi with the force if he wanted to do anything to defend himself.

This of course meant if he carried out his actions he wouldn't have enough time to get out of the way of the blast radius and get seriously hurt if not die, the Sith would have only a few moments to decide his next course of action or he would die. If the Sith let the Jedi go, the sage to defend himself against the grenade the sage would place his lightsaber hand, with the blade deactivated over his chest. The other hand would extend and using his will and his connection to the force to allow him to send a wave meant to pull the Sith towards the Jedi and towards the thermal grenade.

If the sith attempted to use a force barrier to protect himself he would no doubt survive but still be injured, but if the Sith attempted to send the grenade away the sage force pull will cause his attempt to fail as his focus would be broken. Which would result in the Siths no doubt extremely injured if not death, the sage could only hope the Sith survived so he take them to the new Jedi prison.

He'd slipped up over confidence had cost him this fight, how like his father to act so brashly allowing himself the flourish of his blades and giving the sage time to get to bearings, it was a simple matter to swat away the remains of the pistol, perhaps he should have aimed for the wrist instead of the muzzle it would have prevented the Jedi's next move. The Jedi these days were far more aggressive than they had ever been, he should have suspected he'd have had another weapons but a thermal detonator that was unsuspected.

He watched as sailed through the air saw as the Jedi set up his next attack and he cursed, he threw away his weapon drawing his arms armour himself he shrank it his knees turning the power of the force he'd intended to use against the Jedi into a barrier shrouding himself in it as the grenade landed just out of his reach, he drew in more power letting the natural fear building within him at the prospect of the grenade detonating to further strengthen the force barrier.

The detonation forced the air from his lungs the sucking of the implosion almost pulling him from his feet, then came the explosion heat washing over his he felt his skin prickling his hair burning, smelt the clothing and armour under melting away as the surface absorbed what came through the barrier, he heard the the ground around the detonator crystallising as the heat turned it to glass, he absorbed all of this and marvelled at it in the split scone before the impact tore him from his feet sending him several feet backwards. He landed hard and felt bones cracking as he did across his ribs and his shoulders, he was used to landing like this, granted not as hard but his body naturally shifted to prevent his skull being shattered turning into a roll he rolled over once twice then came to a stop on his back looking up at the sky and the stars.

He signed there would be no way he'd be able to recover before the Jedi was on top of him, besides his saberstaff was somewhere else, a chuckle came to his lips painful as it was he allowed himself to laugh the sound echoing in the night sky.

He lifted his hands over his head

If there was one thing he had on his side, it was the element of casual surprise. Perhaps their new friends had heard him speak through the comlink. No matter, they wouldn't know how long he would take to get there nor would they be able to lie in waiting while in the middle of a fight.

He didn't even bother to try to use the force to aid in the grip on his new toy. The shiny black repeaters were notorious for their weight, but prized beyond all else for their skill. Skidding his speeder, the ground became dug out in a circular pattern from pressure against the speeder's engine coming to a harsh stop and spinning around in the same motion.

Having had it locked and loaded for this position, Bast waited until the speeder came to a full and complete stop (safety first) a good distance away from the two and hopped around. If their opponent wanted to come at him, he'd have to take the distance himself. Bast was no wet nosed padawan who threw himself in force range while wielding a long range weapon. Aim. Ready. Fire. The span of his time needed to zone in was relatively small given his skill set. A shower of shots aimed carefully for quality over quantity shot in mass towards his adversary. They called them Jedi-poppers for a reason, and Bast was sure it wasn't just Jedi they worked on.

Hopefully, and it was the goal, Bast would've ripped a 20 holes in Hades' side profile, or at least the first few that would've be hard to dodge. Most would prefer shooting someone in the back, but given the line of fire (Hades walking menacingly towards Bast's companion), the paperwork and meetings would be long and arduous if he had to explain why he turned a fellow knight into a piece of swiss cheese.

Having a trained eye on Hades, as is needed for such a feat of long distance firing, the second the man made a move to react, Bast would immediately stop his fire. Defense is the best offence and if his first shots didn't immediately down the man...well...then there would be plan B. Which would obviously involve kicking back off his speeder while saying "nope" and hiding behind it's safe steel body while preparing his quick-fix plan B.

Instead of resisting the Force push, perhaps putting her opponent into a more confident mindset, the Jedi Knight had allowed herself to be carried by it. Her blade had disengaged as she pulled herself into a ball to disappear and tumble unharmed into the tall over grown grass. There she had waited for him as a predator would wait for prey.

It was as the duel wielding sith pursued her, intent on a rather basic and common cross bladed attack. She was prepared for the easy counter to the attack, except that it became unnecessary as the vehicle carrying Bast showed up. Hades wuld now be forced to attempt to continue his attack and be cut down by the ranged weapons fire, or break off in a more difficult attempt to save his own life. In those few instances, she retreated back a few steps before she called on the power of the Force to leap up and arc through the air to put herself on the same side of the field of fire as Bast. This would allow him to fire more freely at the Sith as she moved towards the vehicle.

As his prey moved to hide in the tall grass, Hades heard the whine of a speeder behind him. He turned towards the new threat in time to see over a dozen blaster bolts headed for him. Three bolts hit his left lightsaber arm causing him to drop the blade. He felt the feeling go out of his arm. The other bolts he, however, dodged by channeling the Force and leaping out of the way, and deflecting what few bolts came near him with his other lightsaber. Once he landed, he quickly took into account the threat before him. Two Jedi, one with a blaster and another with a saber. With one of his good arms being of no use right now, those weren't good odds. Hades was no coward, but he knew a fight that he couldn't win.

His two lower arms moved simultaneously. In one hand his missing lightsaber flew to it, while with the other he grabbed the speeder with the Force, and shoved it at the Jedi hiding behind it. He doubted it would do any lasting damage, but it would provide a distraction for his escape. He again channeled the Force and leaped away from his opponents, twisting his body in mid-air so that when he landed, he could take of at a sprint.

In his mouth, the padawan bit down on a silver lighter that would've given his master a start...if he had one. With more skill that suspiciously denoted he had done this more than would be assumed a sentient would find themselves in the predicament to need to, Bast began to grind his teeth to the right igniting a small flame that licked dangerously close to the corner of his lip.

Fishing blindly behind himself for the feeling of smooth glass in the compartment net, Bast pulled out a bottle of undrinkable liquid marked ominously by a white rag hanging from it's rim. In the same moment, he felt his speeder give tiny jerk forward, not even an smudge, just enough motion to gain his attention. Turning around confused, the Jedi popped up like a Hothal Meercat peering over his speeder, lighter still gripped between his teeth and cocktails in hand only to see his opponent bolting off in the other direction.

“Rreuri?” Bast mumbled rhetorical ‘really’ became obstructed by the metal in his mouth as he watched the man flee in the distance.

It seemed he no longer wanted to partake in battle. That was fine with Bast as long as he ran in the opposite direction of the slaves.

The young Arkanian unfortunately already lit one of his news toys, the flame slowly heating his hand with increasing intensity. The padawan ripped the flaming cloth out of it, stamping the white fabric beneath his foot before dropping to bottle to the ground. Oh well. He spat the lighter into his hand before depositing it into the netting.

“Pilots to Jedi, Camps clear?”

“We’re ready for departure” Bast answered into his comink.
