Lightsaber construction (Post-Skip)

I have a Padawan currently RPing and training waiting for the official time skip. I know currently, when a Padawan constructs his first lightsaber he is accompanied by a master to a particular place and constructs his weapon himself. However, with the plot of the time skip, most Jedi will be in hiding. This throws a kink into traveling to loactions and planets otherwise deemed safe. Is there a particular safety procedure that will be in place? If so, then will each post skip plot offers have varying degrees of how they accumulate the resources and materials? How will new Padawans procede with constructing a new lightsaber post skip, is what I am asking. :CDumb

much of the ritual of saber making saw back with the old republic era jedi is long since gone, while its still holding a significant step much of the flare behind it all is long gone, with lukes consortium/NJO saber making became more akin to a zen monk when it came time to make their rakasu or O-kesa- it was generally something done in quiet meditation, done in isolation or in their dorms, Artisans like Kiro and such have forges on their craft and would make much of the needed parts, others would have to go the way luke did to construct his green blade and many jedi after that and just scavenge things as they went and buy the parts.

now an individual master may choose to oversee the construction and throw their own flare to it, perhaps to try and establish their own cultural ritual to it all, but there is nothing uniform. More so now when things are in chaos

We will have hidden temples for the Jedi to find refuge, so they won't be so scattered that its impossible to find anymore. Lightsaber wise, it shouldn't be hard finding a Master to help you build a lightsaber, however, given the situation of being exiles, it will be difficult to find crystals to power them.

I was planning on doing the Tailwind Project for post skip. Which is why I asked. Even though it may be a large vessel it has limited facilities and constantly moving (I would assume). Just figured with the jedi in hiding things like this would begin to have a bit of secrecy and planning to them.

Tailwind is the best option for building sabers. Juno already has a decent store of materials for lightsaber construction, and considering Tailwind will have the light of the force as a base of operations and the doaba as a mobile deployment unit, we can arrange for mission threads to gather other resources.
