The weather was pretty bad of recent, meaning Durtrak's usual training grounds were mildly flooded and not suitable for training a recruit. Instead, he waited on the roof of the building he was residing at, waiting for the new initiate named Veloren Seele. From what Durtrak could tell, he seemed somewhat of a traveling pilgrim of sort, sprouting peace and such to the people he met.

He waited in the center of the room, his eyes closed as he felt out around him, letting the Force guide his vision to below the building at the people below it, and tried to see if his new student was on his way.

It was funny that Veloren was about to begin training. Considered adult in most cultures, some would think it pointless. But even Veloren knew that training was needed at every age of life. And that was why he was walking towards the building Durtrak, with his walking staff that was given to him so many years ago.

"Hmmm... He approaches..." He sensed his arrival, and would soon be on the roof if he read the letter that was sent to him earlier. Everything that was needed for training could be found on the roof, and it was all they would need, nothing else. He stood on his feet as he turned towards the door and waited.

Veloren went inside the building and got through to the roof. He saw his new master and bowed.

"Master Durtak. Sorry if I'm late."

"Master Durtak. Sorry if I'm late."

"I am no master, yet. You are forgiven, as I only request an answer for two quesssstionsss I have." Durtrak mentioned, folding his hands behind his back as he approached his student, looking him over. Seeing how he was and what he was carrying on him, he spoke.

"What is the reason you are late, and what are you here for? Think on these, and answer them as if your mother was asking you for an honest anssswer."

"I'm late because I meditate after my morning exercises, and I do it rather long.

I am here to learn of the path travelled by Jedi who are not, but still are. To learn what I have lost in time and make up for in peace."

"Hmm... A good awnser, one I would expect. The last thing I would like is one who knows nothing of what he or she is joining. Now then, let us discuss such things for later and begin your journey to the path of the Ospion Guardian.

"First, I want to know what you are capable of. Do you know any of the arts that were taught by the Jeedai and their Order?"

"I know some things, not many, and what I have created on my own. That is after my previous master died." Veloren looked off for a second remembering the screams form that time, so long ago.

OOC: Ack, sorry for the delay.

IC: "Then show Durtrak what abilities you possess..." Durtrak asked, reaching into his pocket to pull out a small metal orb that fitted perfect in his palm. "Catch, without your hands if you can..." Durtrak said as he tossed the ball towards Veloren. He figured it would be easy to start simple and work the way up from there, depending what this man was capable of and how fast a learner he was.

Veloren raused his hands and easily stopped it in mid-air. He drifted softly into his hand a second later. "What next sir Knight."

((I was a little confused on what to call you. I can't say Master because you aren't but I know not what to do))

"Jusssst call me Durtrak." He told Veloren, watching him catch the ball through The Force. "Not bad, now ssshow me a few more thingsss you can do to that ball from what you have learned. I assssure you though, it is quite durable."

Veloren nodded then began to focus upon the ball. He thought of what to do. And he began to put energy into it. The atoms began to quickly move and the ball started to grow in size.

"Interessssting. Now... there is a man over against the wall to your left. He intendssss to kill you, and that ball is your only hope. Demonstrate to me how you sssshould utilize the ball as a weapon through The Force."

Veloren nodded, then suddenly the ball disappeared. In truth it simply expanded into many tiny balls and then went into the man's direction. Each were very hot and Veloren placed them a key parts that made them feel so hot the man's body overloaded temporarily, and he slumped into a forced sleep.

Durtrak leaned his head forward slightly when the ball disappeared, but then saw a brief flash as what seemed like hundreds of tiny ones slammed into the other instructor before he felt his presence disappear into a sleep.

"Most impressssive. I can see you are quite familier with manipuating objectssss through the force. We will go over more of that in a bit, but now I posssse another quesssstion. How well are your reflexessss?"

"Well, I can dodge bullets and most attacks if that's what you're asking." Veloren was intrigued with this new line of questioning. "Generally I refuse to fight, that's why I am able to have peole pass out near instantly."

"Show me." And without saying another word, Durtrak reached into one of his side holsters, ripping out a small knife as he swung it towards Veloren's chest. However, due to where he was, the knife would only cut across his shirt and possible his chest in a non lethal manner. That is is Veloren was unable to react fast enough and evade or parry the attack.

Veloren fell down into the splits, his hand on Durtak's knife hand in a strong grip.

"Were you intentionally trying to attack me?" Veloren smiled becuase he still had his flexibility.

Durtrak held the blade where it was caught, not aplying presure on it. He looked down to Veloren as he held his blade, impressed he avoided the strike. "Yessss, I wassss." And with a quick burst of energy, he ripped the blade from Veloren's grip as he took a step back. "You would not have died though, I mearly wanted to ssssee if you were telling the truth and not boassssting like otherssss sssseem keen on doing."
