Hello
I'm interested in running a low level fantasy along the same sort of veins as Ironclad and Game of Thrones
I'm going to limit the playing field to Human character and human characters and may introduce some form of linage to expand on players.
Magic is limited while there is some it is not casting a throwing fire balls about the place, more ritualistic to bring about healing, alter ones fortune, change the weather type magic than over the top.
thematically the setting will be roughly Medieval covering 800ad to 1500ad with regional archetypes

So only to the Setting

Grimmoria a world not unlike our own where druids once ruled but are now a thing of the past
The continent of Grimmoria is broken up into a number of nations all unified under the ilk of the emperor's of Valdor who led crusades across the lands conquering or unifying the other nations.
Valdor - Inspiration the Christian Crusader 1100-1200
Valdor is the shining capital of the Empire, it's cities are vast hubs of civilisations and are amongst the greatest in all the lands, the people are proud and hard working, aspiring to be follow the examples set by the Knights if Valdor, while Valdor is capable of creating things of beauty like the Imperial Palace they tend to be a practical people making things of function over form, knights wear plate and chain armour that is simplistic and fit for purpose which is the adorned by the surcoats and liveries they drape over.
Salieth - Inspiration Arabic / Persian 800-1300
Salieth was once the centre of magic in the Empire, the heart of scholarly learning until Valdor came they had few warriors instead being and oasis of higher learning, medical practises far our strip any other nation and their colleges of Magic and Knowledge see many travel to learn in their halls, their warriors are highly specialised and go by the title of Sentinel and are given great freedoms over other citizens, in Slaieth a caste system still exists as mages are still common they command the greatest respect as learned advisers and councillors to the other nations
Berzan - Inspiration 800AD vikings
The nation of Berzan are hardy warriors living a life of conflict and warfare, tribal and nomadic by nature they rarely have established settlements of more than a few wooden buildings surrounded by less permanent dwellings, while many see the Berzane as simple they are remarkable craftsmen and their forges create some of the most highly decorated and finely made item of metal which is their favoured forum of craft, while plate armour is rare in Berzane it tends to be thicker and heavier than other nations but is also highly decorated with other metals.
Duran - Inspiration Late 1450-1500 European
Duran is not in itself a nation but in truth the single greatest city of the Empire, far in excess of the others the City State is a haven for mercenary companies who dress themselves in elaborate and colourful garb, arms and armour here tend to be finely worked items showing a great level of skill and expense and are by and far the most decorative in the Empire, so expensive in fact that only the richest of its people can afford a full harness.
Norda - Inspiration 1400 - 1485 English
The people or Norda are much like the people of Valdor practical and adaptive their nation is rich in many minerals and resources which make them the envy of many other nations but also strong trade has long been established, this excess of resources has led to a development of arms and armour that can rival that of Duran but being a practical people they are reserved in over decoration, cheaper than Durranan armour it is by no means any less effective and Men at Arms of the nations are commonly seen in 3/4 of even full harnesses.
Hopefully some flavor pictures to give ideas
The Rp will be starting off in Durran so you can come from any nation you choose
