Making a break for it

Josis looked around at the beauty of the planet and couldn't help but admire it. The beautiful sand that covered the beaches made Josis gawk as there was no beaches on Lamia. When he has a break from training he was going to go straight back here. He felt like a two year old whe.n he started to touch the sand and feel its soft texture run through his fingers. "This place is beautiful"

Mackenzie lead him to the Temple as she saw him awe struck looking at the lovely beaches that had wonderful sunsets in the evenings. It was just as she remembered almost nothing had changed. She saw him trying to touch the sand as they went by and she stopped to let him look. "I can tell, that you'll fit in perfectly here." she said as he admired the beach

As Josis followed Mackenzie towards the temple he couldn't help but gulp at the sheer size of it. He wondered how it had remained secret all this time and how the Imperials hadn't found the temple. He wondered how they hadn't even found the planet. "How did this remain secret all this time? What do we do when we arrive?" So many questions were running through his head but he forced himself to remain quiet

Mackenzie couldn't help but smile at his questions. "Well, you see, the planet has a shield. And that shield can help make the p
Anet invisible to the Empires eye. It's made for light sides to see, while of the shields detect darkness the planet remains invisible." she explained.

"So this place can basically detect the dark side? What about the dark side in people?"

Mackenzie slightly shrugged her shoulders and looked at him. "Well, yes it can. But since the planet is controlled by the Jedi, it can sense if somebody has the light within them, that's also why you could see the planet because you've turned into a light sider. As for people who are engulfed in the dark side, they cannot see the planet at all."

 

[Cheshire]

"Isn't the old order based on the ideas that the dark side doesn't escape you?" Does that mean that the Jedi would accept him for having ties to the Sith. If they brought it up then he would simply say that he knew nothing about them, never mind his old allegiance to the Sith Order. "Who do we speak to when we arrive?"

 

[Rae Anne Jarrus]

"Uh, I think they changed that rule after I was taken away." she said thinking about that one. She knew they would definitely accept him in the Order even if previously was a sith. They could help pulling the Darkside out of him and replacing it with the light side. She then heard him ask who they had to talk to and she smiled. "Master Yoda."

 

[Cheshire]

"I heard about him, he's was the master of the old order wasn't he?" Master Yoda huh. He was the one that was feared by all the Sith, that all the Sith had nightmares about. He did have nightmares about this infamous Jedi that would storm in his bedroom and chop him to bits. The memory of them made him shudder as he tried to put on a brave face. "Lets go" as he walked towards the temple, hoping that Mackenzie didn't realise how badly he was shaking.

Mackenzie smiled. "Yes he was. The greatest Jedi master there could have been for the Order. Hes fearless and very smart. Just remember, the master talks in an interesting way. Nobody knows why he speaks backwards..." she giggled as they reached the top step of the Temple. She walked over to the door and tried to pull the door open but it wasn't budging. She smiled remember that this was a mental trick for padawans to learn how to open things through the force. "Well, this hasn't changed at all!" she stated excitedly with a giggle. Kenzie then closed her eyes and with a wave of her hand, the door shifted, dust floating out from the top as it always did when it opened.

The door finally opened and she looked back at Josis with an encouraging smile and motioned for him to follow her. She walked through the doorway and noticed it was dark. She stopped for a second remembering her training and then she continued on holding her hands up (Like Elsa did in frozen when she built the staircase) and with the force she lit the flames as she went down the hall until she finally saw light at the end and she put her hands down to find the master talking to some padawans. She walked up to the master after he turned around to see her and he smiled motioning her over to him. He then spoke.

"Hmm, Padawan Bridger, a long time it has been. Good are you? Missed your presence the temple have. Best student of mine, you were."

"Hello master. Yes it has been a long time, and I have been doing... ok. I have actually brought someone who seeks your intelligence, master."

Master Yoda got a curious look on his face, one that Kenzie hadn't seen in a long time. He then saw who she was talking about and he walked over to Josis and motioned for him to come to the master's eye level.

"A new path, you have chosen. Proud to be your master soon, I am. Tell me Padawan, what is your name?" he asked calmly.

"My name is Josis Shatora Master. Its an honour to meet you in person" As Josis tried to conceal his fear and his shaking hands

Mackenzie watched the little scene that was happening between the two. She say Josis shaking and she walked over calmly to put her hand on his shoulder. Master Yoda raised a slight eyebrow sensing his fear.

"Afraid, you do not have to be. Trust me, you can. Much fear in you I sense, Padawan Shatora. Great honor you it is to meet you too. Welcome newcomers, we always do. Fit in perfectly, you will"

The master stated calmly almost soothingly to him. The master had no intentions on hurting him, he did know that Josis was previously a Darkside user and he would help him to the light side. There truly was o reason to be fearful.

Josis was relieved that Master Yoda let him into the order. He got excited when the Master would say he would fit in perfectly. "What do I do from here?" He asked wanting to know what his training would entail and whether he would get some time on the sandy beach and in the sea

Mackenzie smiled as master Yoda then looked to her and nodded asking for her to take over because another student needed help. She then nodded back to him and turned to Josis helping him up.

"Master Yoda has something to deal with right now, but since I was his oldest student, he'll be having me show you around and help you with your schedule. I've known the master ever since I was born. I always asked to train extra with him everyday and that also gave me time to explore the Temple, so I'll help you with getting around here." she started. Before the two could leave, the master stopped Mackenzie and gave her a list and she smiled and nodded in return. "Perfect. This will help you with the schedule. So what Master Yoda usually has new students do, is meditate before a training session. It helps keep us calm and focused so we don't cut a limb or nose off.. Or an eye...." she giggled. "So this lis- no, note, says that he wants us to train together so I can show you around. That's perfect!" she said slipping the letter into her back pocket. "Maybe sometime this evening we can head over to that beach we passed to see the sunset, meditate some and have a little fun. I haven't felt the watr in a little while." she said.

Mackenzie led him down a long hall that led to a connected room that still had her name on the door. She touched the door as her fingers then ran down the wood to the nob and opened the door to her room. It hadn't changed one bit. She stood there in awe for two minutes before she shook herself out of it and led Josis to another door in her room. Her room wasn't very girly due to the fact she didn't like pink or any color that was close to it. The room was a sapphire blue with rebel graffiti all over the walls. Once she walked over to the door, she opened it and allowed Josis to go in first. "This will be your room. The master wants us to stick together and I'm guessing he anticipated a new student, so he reserved this one for you. Now if you want to go out to the beach, I'd suggest getting some things ready to go. Freshen up, and meet me where we came in."

As Josis walked into his room "This room looks lovely, though I think I need the Rebels graffiti that you have. It might spice up the room a bit" As he collapsed onto the bed, he almost melted into the bed as it was so fluffy. As he made his way to the small bathroom that was in his room, he turned the shower on full blast and quickly began to undress before hopping into the shower to freshen up, he loved showers as it usually helped him think and relaxed him. As Josis turned off the steam and he quickly dried himself off he felt happy that he got to join and he felt at home. As Josis quickly got himslef changed into a plain t-shirt and Shorts, he grabbed his two lightsbabers off the bed before walking to meet with Mackenzie "I'm ready" He said with a smile

Before she left the room and into hers, she heard him say that he could use some of her graffiti and she smiled. "I can do that for you." she said with a small giggle before she then let him continue on with getting cleaned up.

She walked into the area where they had first come in and watched the younglings who were finishing up training and then they came running over to her and she smiled kneeling down to their level as they gave her hugs for some reason. "What's with all of the hugs, children?" she asked as they all crowded around her giving her a group hug. The child that was closest to her in the front responded. "Master James said to." Mackenzie's mouth dropped before she closed it quickly and smiled at the children and then they all ran to Master Yoda as he called for them to follow him. "Master James. Hmm. That's a name I've not heard in a while." she said walking over to him with a smile. He then saw her as he was clearly exhausted but when he did see her, his face lit up with pure excitement as he then walked over to her grabbing her hands rubbing them for a second and then pulled her into a tight hug. She missed his hugs and training but she cringed slightly as he hugged her tight which smashed into her scars. She hugged him back ignoring the scars that we're clearly painful. "I missed you trouble maker." he said with a smirk. "I missed you too master." she replied before their bug broke apart so he could get a look at her. "you've grown into a pretty young lady Kenzie." he said looking her over before he hugged her again and then hugged her again before he had to leave when master Yoda also called him over. They were holding hands until they got far enough apart where they couldn't hold them any longer. She smiled as he left and she then saw Josis walking up to her with a smile saying that he was ready. She smiled back looking back to master James again as he continued walking with Yoda. The smile stayed as she then took Josis's hand and led him outside to the beach. "Ok let's go."

Once they got there, they saw the beautiful sunset and heard the crashing of the waves on the shoreline as a gentle breeze blew in their faces. Mackenzie smiled at Josis as she then walked towards the water with him and sat down legs crossed just in front of the water line so she wouldn't get wet but she could get the mist from the ocean in her face. She waited for Josis to sit down with her before she started to meditate. "Isn't it beautiful?" she asked with a smile that remained on her face.

As Josis watched Mackenzie move to the edge of the water, she motioned for him to follow her to meditate. "so how does meditation work? Its kinda encouraged for the Sith to chop off a nose, though they usually prefer a head." As Josis sat down next to Mackenzie, he couldn't help but notice the beautiful sunset and how it reflected off the waves. "isn't it beautiful?"

Mackenzie sat down and waited for him to sit down and she giggled at his statement. "Well, meditation helps you relax. So you want to breath, and focus on peace and quiet. Clear your mind and focus on relaxation." she said looking at him smiling.

As Josis attempted to meditate, he couldn't quite get the hang of it. His mind was always running with thoughts, little dreams running round his head at a hundred miles per hour. As he tried to meditate and clear his thoughts, he gave up after ten minutes of attempting to meditate and just sat and looked at the water and the sun reflecting off it. "Well that was productive. So how about a quick duel before I go for swim?" as he stood up and waited for Mackenzie to respond

Mackenzie was already in a meditated state. She sensed that Josis was having trouble, but it always takes a little while to get used to it and get a hang of it so she wasn't helping him with it at this point because she wanted him to figure it out by himself. Ten minutes later, she sensed he gave up and then he said something to her. She opened her eyes and also got up. "It takes a little bit of practice. Honestly I would have been surprised if you got a hang of it right away. But yes a quick duel sounds great!" she said pulling her sabers from her belt flipping them real quick. "And so does a swim." she smirked.
