Maliel has a very pale complexion, with hair to match. Her hair is a wavy white-blonde, though her eyebrows are a darker color, close to brown. She has full lips and a pointed, slightly upturned nose. Her eyes are a stormy light-green/grey, and her face is unlined. She stands at 1.63 meters, and has a proportionate figure. She weighs 53 kilograms, and is lean and slightly muscled. Maliel is twenty-three years of age.

Maliel carries with her a dual set of mint-green dual-phase lightsabers. They are set at a standard of 91.44 centimeters, with the dual-phase activation length being 121.92. She keeps two dual-phase pistols on her, as well as two flash bang grenades, thermal detonators, and one firespray grenade. She wears a UAI-19 combat suit, with phrik gauntlets and grieves.

Early Life — Born on Alderaan, Maliel was raised initially in a life of luxury and freedom. She was a wild child, independent from a young age, and intensely curious. She loved her family and friends, and loved to go on adventures with anyone she met. She was a ray of sunshine that could not be dimmed. She seemed slightly ahead of average development, and far too mature for her age, when she reached five. This was when the temple paid her family a visit, and dropped a life-changing bombshell. She went willingly with the Jedi, seeing it as an amazing adventure, and thinking that she could be a super kick-butt Jedi.

Joining the Order — During her tenure as a padawan in the temple, Maliel struggled to keep up with her young comrades, on a physical level. She always seemed just a step or two behind, and was constantly the last to complete tasks. She never quite took to the principles the same way the kids did either. She memorized them and gave her best appearance of cordially following them, but inside she had always harbored a rebellious spirit. Her motto was, and remains still, "question everything". When the time for the knight's test came about, despite her bring slightly behind in combat, and her slightly below-average call upon the force, her tactical brain and her ability to outsmart her opponents, especially her ability of improvisation, won her over in the eyes of the council. She also demonstrated an ability to empathize deeply with others, and thereby demonstrated extraordinary ability to understand and get through, which would prove helpful in negotiations and relations overall. She has since evolved her capabilities in combat to match what is expected of her.

Beginnings of a Knight — After passing her knight's test, she went to visit her family, who she had no contact with during her time in the academy. She went to their old home and found a different family there. She traced her family to Chandrilla, and found that a drunken partygoer had murdered all but her little sister, crashing a speeder into the family room window. Her sister was left in a comatose state, essentially asleep for the past four years. She didn't even know this sister, and she was only five years old, having been in the attack just a year before. It was amazing that she survived, considering her age, and the medics remained stumped as to why she was still in a coma. She pushed aside the grief as she had been taught in the temple, which was something she had never been good at, and vows to one day kill the man, as he was never caught.

After discovering the tragedy of her family, Maliel threw herself into training harder than ever before. She had always felt slightly limited by her teachers, and she found her own styles and her own ways of learning. She used the death of her family to fuel the burning desire to get stronger, and she did just that. She went on hiatus from the order while she trained, as she was growing unsure of whether or not she truly believed in the same principles as the order. She found her place back in the Jedi when the Tython temple was attacked, and her master died in her arms. This event aligned her beliefs with those of the Jedi in a few ways. She was struck in the heart by the attack, and she swore a vow to bring peace to the galaxy, as well as a vow to destroy every single Sith the galaxy harbored. That was all the common ground she needed. Her hatred of the Sith drove her to maintain the principles of the Jedi.

A Master's Folly — After the attack, Maliel hated the Sith even more than before. She was driven to end them, and all that they represented. When she met Kira Elan, all of that changed. She saw the Sith in a new light. She saw that there could be good, and she saw that not everything about the Sith was purely evil. She came to love Kira, and that love became the object of her own destruction. She betrayed the Jedi, turning on her friends and comrades. She killed for Kira, slaughtering innocent Jedi without a thought. She planned to feed information directly from the master's council to the Sith. She never got the chance, however, as she was caught during the events following the Battle of Coruscant. She was forced to flee with the Sith, and has taken up a position in their ranks.

Once happy-go-lucky, Maliel has become a more reserved and individualistic person. She used to thrive on social interaction, but has turned more to the side of introspection and alone time. She feels alone now that she is with the Sith. She feels terrible for betraying her friends, and the guilt from that weighs on her constantly. She is no longer so sure about her loyalties, and she isn't sure what she wants to do next. She faces bouts of depression due to her crimes, and she is prone to anxiety at times. The thirst she once had to prove herself is non-existent. She feels that she had proved herself by attaining the rank of master, but lost all the respect she had earned. She doesn't feel like she deserves to have it back.

@Proleptic Hey buddy looks good but if you could put down maybe like what she did for the knight trials, or even how she was able to become a knight if she was always behind. Like what made the council think 'you know this girl is ready for action'. Of course that's all I see that needs to be added.

@Richie B. I made some adjustments to outline reasons why she was able to pass her knight's tests, and specified that her abilities have increased since her becoming a knight to match those that are expected of an average knight.
