Mandalorian Faction?

Okay, so I'm new, and I'm really wanting to make a Mandalorian character, but I'm a bit confused. I've found the faction for them, but I'm wondering how to join them. I haven't even made my character yet, that way I don't mess anything up until I know what to do.

so yeah, any help would be nice ^_^

As far as I know the Taung don't require you to be the species anymore, so most species would be okay. They still won't like you as much as if you WERE a Taung, but if you can keep up and do well that would fade away.

Wellll, the Taung is pretty slow and we're cutting its potential by keeping a single species. I'm fine with an open recruitment for the sake of improvement.

You need an in-universe reason for that, considering the Taung are highly xenophobic.

That's something I'd also be okay with. It could be a new armor the Hutts designed, custom armor, whatever.
