Here are some options to be developed as Faction Tech. I would do this myself, but my coding and formatting skillz suck.

The idea was @Arclight and @Relent , encouraging faction gauntlet tech that could be swapped out per mission demands.

1) Vibro-Saw Launcher

Can hold two serrated saw blades to be fired prior to reloading gauntlet. 10m max effective range. 5m accurately.

2) Flash Emitter
Military grade emitter, capable of temporarily blinding enemies within melee distance. Can burn out retina if flashed directly into eyes, causing permanent blindness. Fitted in the wearer's palm.

3) Splicer's Hand
  • Three part system. First item is an retractable attachment cord to be inserted into target computer system. Second item is a fold-out keyboard, contained over inner forearm. Lastly, the main drive is housed in display keyboard unfolds from.

4) Thermal Dampner

  • When activated, stifles individual's thermal signature. Unlike Scatterweave, which 'disorientates' sensor readings, the Thermal Dampner masks them. Ship sensors are unable to pick up the faint signature, and ground soldiers using optics must be within 5 meters to catch a heat trace. With a little sand or snow covering armor, the wearer can remain hidden with absolute confidence. Material is an insulative fiber, woven within the bodyglove. Because Mandalorian armor is vacuum sealed, the wearer's heat signature is already reduced. When this fiber is manufactured into the bodyglove underneath, signature residue drops even further on the visual spectrum of a human using thermal optics. With added aide from the natural environment, visibility can be nullified almost completely.
  • NOTE: Scatterweave is developed for dodging tageting equipment and the thermal dampner better suited for avoiding thermal optics. Different functions, different material.
Personally I will be incorporating new gadgets, but any possible tools must be considered generic, and if combat related, cannot exceed capabilities of existing tech.

Intent: More Faction Tech. To get writer's creativity up and encourage fellow Mando'ade to think and write outside the box.

Have fun!

5) Energy Buckler
  • Buckler emits from gauntlet.
  • Vibro weapons: 3 hits
  • Medium/Light blasters: 2 hits
  • Heavy Blaster/Rifles: 1 hit
  • Lightsaber: 1 hit
NOTE: Totally canon, in Clone Wars

fibrecord launchers would be cool. classic mando gadget, and maybe we can through in the ability to electrify it for a bit of flair.

Fibrecord Cable Launcher:
-Range: 5-10 meters
-Capabilities: can ensnare average humanoid, electrification feature has the same effect as a stun bolt, and is strong enough to drag/carry average humanoid.

Okay, so I briefly spoke to @Prudence and he said it would be good to post this here (#blameprudence) but I had developed some items for Mandos to use and didn't know if you'd be interested in submitting them for faction tech. I know they aren't the tools mentioned in the OP but if you find any of these useful then you're welcome to adopt them and if not that's cool too. The first two are gauntlet weapons and the last is a drone for use with TRA armor. @Mirdala Priest @Kori Buor

Edit: Had to make a small adjustment to the WR-5, should be good to go now

WR-5
[fancybox4=http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/marvelcinematicuniverse/images/b/b6/Ex-Wife_Missile.png]Type: MandalArms WR-5
Model: Wrist Rocket
Launcher Capacity: 2
Range: 50 meters (travel distance)
5 meters (blast radius)

Considered one of the more advanced wrist missiles of its day, the WR-5 serves multiple purposes for the modern infantry trooper. Heavily favored by Mandalorians of the Dominion, the WR-5 is compatible with the double launchers of the CCT MKII and TRA armor systems. It's outer shell is designed to shatter upon impact, causing it to disintegrate into deadly shrapnel upon detonation. At the core of the missile is a small detonite charge at the rear of a depleted baradium core. Upon detonation the depleted baradium core is accelerated forward to punch through walls or armor while the casing of the missile is shredded, exploding outward as shrapnel to accompany the blast wave of the detonation. The default launcher for the WR-5 contains two rockets side by side.

WF-5
[fancybox4=https://starwarsalways.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/star-wars-1313-concept-art-boba-fett-flamethrower.jpg]Type: MandalArms WF-5
Model: Wrist Flamethrower
Range: 5 meters

The WF-5 is precisely what it sounds like: a wrist mounted flamethrower. It contains two compressed napalm capsules that can each produce approximately five seconds of flame that, upon activation, will shoot approximately five meters. At five meters, the cone of flame will be approximately one meter in diameter.

Nightstalker

Model: Drone
Battery Capacity: Thirty minutes
Vision Modes: Normal/Thermal

The Nightstalker is a MandalArms creation originally conceived to accompany their TRA armor. The drone has a relatively simple design. Fitting easily into the palm of the hand, the Nightstalker consists of three main elements: a repulsor generator, a wide lens camera with transmitting and recording capabilities, and a remote control receiver. The drone can be controlled by software installed on a standard datapad and transmit that information back to said datapad or the Advanced Tactical Reconnaissance Computer in TRA armor.
