*Staring out the viewport of the frigate analog Jedi Master Uric Kyrtus Kressh looked out upon the black void that was space. They were just about to make the jump to hyperspace on their way to Ilium for Khaluq's first mission as a padawan, she was searching for an adequete lightsaber crystal so she could begin construction on her blade. Trillan Darksword had been brought along as well so he could get a feel of what it was truly like to travel with his new master, which of course was Uric.*

*At this point in their journey both Trillan and Khal were in the living quarters of the ship. They had been informed that they should get some rest before they had begun.*

ooc: This is an oportunity for you guys to post and talk or whatever the hell you feel like, before the... twist occurs.

OOC: Why am I suddenly scared? lol

Ever since her escape from Coruscant with Kael, she hadn't spoken much. If it weren't for his intervention, she would have died or been consumed with the virus that was killing so many below. She felt helpless as the news reports were hacked into and she caught word of the lasting effects. There was a sense of somberness about all the Jedi now after the attack, yet their spirits were not broken. After sleeping for some time, Khaluq awoke from a horrid dream and sat straight up in the cot aboard the ship. The ship around her was quiet just as the Temple was the night before the attack.

Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she slipped out of bed and pulled her robes around her tying them. Opening the door to her room, she slipped out into the hallway.

OOC: Your scared for a reason

*The young Jedi Knight's heart, beat as if it were being wieghed down by a cloud of unending darkness. He had witnessed first hand the destruction of hte Sith, and the only home he head known, be blown to ruins. The visual of his former Masters death played out in his head. the gaze of those black diamond eyes forever etched in his memory as he invisioned the Sith Lord Mortis impale the Senior Council Member and tear his skull to tatters. He shook such thoughts out of his head. Such things would lead him down a dark emotional path, they had all been there, he was not the only one who witnessed the true experience of the Sith.

He removed his cloak and hung it on a Hangar nearby. He sat himself down in one of the chairs and began to visit the fountians within himself. There unending trickles of water soothed his thoughts as he thought of seeing Khaluq again, she the only friend he had left, besides Master Kressh. The sitting un-nerved him in a way, he didnt like remaining still for so long.

He arose to stand beside his newest master and share in the beautifull sight of spaces vast expanse, devoid of all boundries, it was a beautifull place indeed And even more so that he could be here with his friends. Though they were here on business. And it was that he attempted to keep focused on.*

*Uric turned and placed his right hand on Trillan's shoulder. He looked into his eyes with his own piercing dark green. Somehow it seemed, Uric always knew what people were thinking.*

"The Force had it's reasons for what happened Trillan. We must believe that. He died so you could live. It was not coincidence that I found you there. It was meant to be."

*He turned back to look out the viewport. In his mind's eye he could feel Khal waken and enter the hall just behind them.*

"It appears our other member on this voyage is awake as well."

She entered the room and stopped shortly after entering. She hadn't heard or seen Trillan since the night before the attack. Little did she know that while she had been settling in her room collecting her thoughts that he had also come aboard.

"Trillan? Is that really you?"

A smile spread across her face as she rushed forward and embraced him in a hug. Her eyes moved to that of her master.

"You didn't tell me."

*A smile came about his face as he embraced her. Simply knowing that she was alive and well brought a sense of joy to his heart. And made him begin to think that his experiences at the temple were well worth it. And the wise words of Master Kressh that had graced his ears simply could not drift out of his head, though they lingered and made themeslves appearant, imprinting his words of wisdom directly onto the mind of the Young Knight. And he spoke with an uplifted tone *

"There was a change of plans. I hope my presence here dosent bother you too much. Master Uric asked me to come along, apart from Masters Orders i thought it might do me some good to be back in action, take my mind off Couruscant."

*Uric didn't even turn around to respond, he slipped off his robes and sat down in the pilot's seat.*

"I didn't think I had to Khal. Plus, this way was a little bit more... amusing you could say. I know of you're... connection with each other, and the Force guided me into bringing you back together at this point in time. Do not question exactly what I mean, for soon all shall be revealed."

*Ironically at that EXACT moment, the console infront of Master Uric beeped, he clicked a button on the dash, then it beeped again. Instantly a blue holo erupted to be shown infront of the three. It was that of an old man, obviously it was a recording and not a live feed.*

Uric my old friend! I am in need of your assistance. You know you still owe me from that last game of pazaak. You never were too good at that game I must say, hehehe. But as I have said... I need your help. My ship has... *static* landed on Lok-*static* needs repairs.-*static* this recording *static* has the tracking *static* for my ship. Please hurry.

Immediately, Khal moved over to the console and began to try to check the recording. Yet, the problem with the transmission wasn't from their end...it was from the ship it originated from. She still tried to manipulate the feed and lessen some of the distortion that came through.

"I'm trying to clean it up as much as I can, but doesn't seem to be doing too much more. Here. Let's see if that helps."

She punches a few keys and replays the message. Though her knowledge on such systems wasn't extensive, she did know a thing or two. While the message replayed, she tried to lock onto the tracking sent with the message and get a location for the ship's whereabouts. What she found she brought up onscreen for Master Kressh to see.

*Uric frowned, watching the holo recording once more. The he turned to Khaluq.*

"It's alright Khal. It's decipherable enough. Obviously hes trapped on the desert planet of Lok. Somethings also wrong with his ship. This man is a Jedi, and old friend of mine. We should go after him. Trillan, take the co-pilot's seat, and punch in the coordinates for Lok. Khal I'm sorry but your lightsaber is going to have to wait."

*He once again turned his attention back to the ship and began hitting buttons and switches.*

"Take a seat my dear, because this is going to take awhile Lok is quite a ways away, I'm surprised that recording even made it out this far."

"Yes, Uric."

She turned and sat in the seat behind Trillan as the two began to pilot the ship toward Lok. It was a place unfamiliar to her. She didn't recall ever coming across a planet by that name. Looking out of the viewer, she tried to push away the thoughts of Coruscant and focus instead on the task that was about to be at hand. The idea of being on her first mission had sounded exciting to her now, yet she also now was exposed to the real threats Jedi face in the galaxy. A shudder crossed her body as her mind returned to that of the Sith briefly. The things she had seen on the security feed were horrific. Shaking her head to clear her mind, she looked back to Trillan and wondered how he was doing after the attacks. There was a deep sadness in his eyes different from some of the others. His loss had been great back in the Temple.

"Yes Master."

*Trillan nodded and hopped into the pilots seat. There had been a change of plans and he prepared himself for whatevery may lay ahead. He opened the Navi-Computer and began punching in the coordanits for Lok, it didnt take to long, in his spare time he had memorised hyperspace routes, trade lines, and the rough location of the major systems within the galaxy. Lok wasnt far at all from Tatooine or Rori.

He turned to face Uric after he entered the co-ordanits to make his report*

"Navi-Computer coded and ready, im priming the engines for hyperspace.."

"Hit it whenever you're ready Trillan."

*Uric closed his eyes, little did they know, that what happened on Coruscant affected him more than what it seemed. Revan, Ein, Helio, they all haunted his dreams. The second they each became one with that Force that day, he knew it. When one's signature he knew disappeared and became one, he could feel it, almost like a scar. One that would not heal, would never heal. That scar continued to grow these days... You could not see it by looking at Uric with your eyes, nor through the Force. His emotions were kept hidden at all times, not to protect himself, but to protect the others. They needed someone to guide them, to give them a reason to move on. To show them that life truly does go on. Uric Kyrtus Kressh was just the one to do it. Though for one split second, his eyes showed his true feelings. Everyone, even him at times, had to let it out.*

She saw her master's shoulder hunch for just a moment before straightening again. Khaluq didn't know of what all had happened within the Temple. What little time she was inside, her attentions had been redirected to trying to help the Jedi out with hacking into systems. Even when Kael had come for her, he had taken extra care to keep her away from the battles unfolding. She felt distanced from both Trillan and Uric and not knowing of anything to say. Though the Jedi Master didn't say anything, she remembered her talk with Kael and how they dealt with pain. Both of them were hurting in a way she understood all too well. Yet, she gave them their space and their silence. It was afterall what had comforted her for those 10 years after her parents death.

"Lok here we come"

*He executed the Hyperdrive systems and the stares around them stretched into a blur as the ship seemed to have stoped, only to lurch foward once again and plunge them into the blue void of Hyperspace. His thoughts of Couruscant were being supressed as he tried to focus on a happier note*

"Khal, you seem distant...is something the matter?"

Coming out of her thoughts, she turns to Trillan and smiles while shaking her head no. The lie was an easy one to do. She didn't want to remind him of the pain he faced on Coruscant. He might be willing to talk about it another time, but now when another's life was in danger, was not such a time. This was the feeling she at least received from her master.

"No. I was just letting my thoughts carry me away. I promise it's nothing."

*Uric frowned and kicked off his boots, he liked going barefoot whenever possible. Especially on a ship, the cold steel comforted the underside of his feet. He then sighed.*

"I like to feel the cold steel against my skin. It's exhilerating, gets the body moving, keeps you awake while trying to outrun a star cruiser as well, haha."

*He was only trying to lighten the mood, doing horribly so of course. He then shut his eyes and leaned back in the seat, laying his hands the chest of his light tan shirt.*

Khaluq turned her eyes to the Master's bare feet and it pulled her out of her thoughts. She was trying to think back to their training day before the attack. Honestly, she couldn't remember if he had his shoes on or not....

OOC: Figured I'd post something.

*Trillan smiled at Uric, the thought of outruning a Star Cruiser made his heart skip a beat. Though myhaps not for the right reasons*

I would loooove a Shot at a Sith Cruiser right about now...

*He shook away such thoughts and turned to check the Navi-Computer. they still had quite a while to go. Hoping to start some sort of discussion he turned to Khaluq and spoke in a tone of his usual warmth that he always had when reguarding her*

"So Khaluq, hows your training coming along? From what ive heard Master Uric can be tough at times"

She turned her eyes to Trillan and smiled at him with wonder. How was it he always knew what she was thinking about? It was almost as if he read her mind constantly.

"Aside from trying to punch me in the face, he's had me cleaning the mats in the room."

She laughed at the comment knowing full well this wasn't the case. He had been testing her ability to sense others through the Force and to manipulate objects.

*Uric opened his eyes for one brief second, and laughed very loudly, but not turning around to face either one of them.*

"I didn't actually hit you did I Khal? I think you were the first to react so fast though, quite impressive for someone with no prior training."

*He stared directly out the viewport, as the blue streak of stars seemed to never end.*
