Mike is and always will be a tech kid, his mother owning a shop that specialize in repairing that which was beyond repair. A gift that apparently been passed down the generations, though Mike never was as good as it as his mother. But he still took great pride and was never humble with his skills, making sure others knew it. Willing to make bets with others on his skills, even when the task was impossibly stacked against him. Mike never backed downed though he didn't always win the bets. He will always be interested in tinkering with what he can get his hands on, either droids, ships, anything that he can take apart and put back together.
Mike is a generally curious kid, always thinking of the stars he will never see. Being born on Nar Shadda did make it hard for him to explore the greater Galaxy, and his education was limited to just what his mother told him. He is willing to try new things so long as it doesn't involve murder, or drugs or terrorizing people.
After his mother's death Mike became a bit more quiet, though it has encourage him to go out and explore. His mother has always been one to encourage him, and making sure he was alright, but without her now he feels kind of lost. Mike thinks about his life before the death of his mother, and wants to forget it because of the pain it brings. Though at the same time he doesn't want to forget his mother putting him into a loop of confusion and pain, unsure what to do or how to feel. Which is why he wants to be distracted to stop thinking on it though he also wishes to hold the memory, though he doesn't want the pain anymore.
With joining the Jedi, Mike became more adventurous again, willing to go out and fight the bad guys, learn about the force and its many mysterious. Feeling a strange calling to whenever he feelings that which is around him, like a being trying but failing to reach out for him, his teachers at the temple say its probably old spirits of past relatives calling out, and that it will go away soon. He is sanely curious over knowledge and how the force could be applied to working science, wondering how the force could be used to help those around him.
Mike was born from a mechanic mother and a unknown father, his early life was one with plenty of hardship. With only a mother to help him, he was forced to find ways to assist his mother. So he got into stealing, and learning about what his mother did to help her when she became tired or needed a second hand. Though it was a hard life and one that caused Mike to sometimes sleep without having eaten enough, it was one he was content with. Simply because him and his mother were happy and together, knowing that his father had abandon them. It made Mike crave and need to make sure his mother smile, but of course that could only last so long. Nar Shadda had ways of breaking those that held onto hope for to long, and sadly Mike's mother was just another victim of trying to actually do something for yourself and her son.
She had been saving up credits, though it wasn't much she had made enough credits that might soon get them off world. An able to survive on another world, but a new local gang came asking for a large sum of protection money, more so than the last gang that was in control. Of course Mike's mother gave as much as possible without giving some of the saved credits away. But for some reason the gang figured that shop had more credits and quickly searched for any hiding spots. And sadly the broken down astromech was opened up and the large sum of credits meant to liberate them, became the thing that doomed them. The gang made a example of her, leaving Mike all alone and without much hope. But he wouldn't let himself die, not even when his only family had been taken away from him.
He continue on the story hoping that one day something will save him from the planet's evil. As he took over the store and doing his best to keep his head down to survive. Even if he wanted to get revenge on the gangs, he doesn't know how he could, with only a single blaster pistol and no one else brave enough. He knew he would be killed before he got revenge, so he waited wishing and hoping for a chance to either get revenge or leave the planet even if it meant, he would be homeless.
He would eventually run into a strange man getting something that seemed dangerous, and as he gets closer because of a strange feeling. The situation derailed quickly and he was injured by a stray bolt to his side, of course it might have just ended the young man, but thanks the man had come over to help him. Learning of his force sensitives the young man, was taken into the Jedi order learning much of himself and the galaxy around him. He became a Padawan and spent most of his time looking for a way to learn more about the force, an how to use it to help others.
Mike strength is his understanding of tech was one of his greatest strengths. But that was not his only strength, he is capable of at least some good punches and carrying heavy weights. Which does allow him stamina in a fight, and or running away. He is capable of working under pressure, thanks to the environment he was raised in. Is also able to take a beating before going unconscious though doesn't mean he is able to do more when he is taken serious amount of damage.
Willingness to follow those that had helped him, deep sense of loyalty, having no formal education so lacks some common knowledge. Only barely trained with a lightsaber and his blaster pistol, and though he has been training more of his physical body, he is still not a super awesome ninja that can do flips and all that. But Mike is unsure how to work explosives, unaware how to use many blasters, and is barely able to use a ship, requiring help in flying a ship.

Knows how to lie, and spin tales though and isn't afraid to bargain with people on price having needed that when he was younger.

Can throw a pretty mean punch, can take a really mean punch, and most importantly he can carry a lot. An he is a quick learner, and given time he will figure out any problem set before him, though of course he still needs time to do some thinking. He also knows a few languages such as Huttese, as many customers don't always speak basic.
The force is something Mike has little experience with, so far only able to show the ability to do minor TK and sense when danger is around when he spent the time feeling for it.
