I just wanted to check in about Telunaris over exerting himself, the only other real reference I can find to this power (force light) is in this thread, where Wyck used it, from what I can tell at a full level, and then still has power left to throw up a barrier, catch the energy and return it of a massive (level 4) creature, another further barrier after that. He only gets knocked out after being hit by lowering his own shield to be hit by a blast and thrown into a pillar.

I understand in ours Telunaris is using another power at the same time, but from what I remember Wyck was only level 3 during that thread too, and honestly just want some thoughts on it.

But anyway, no stress, just something I thought I'd flag :)

@Nightfall096 We actually asked Malon what the effects would be and he confirmed at a level 3 with Telunaris doing something big enough to target all three of us + Crush it'd instantly drain him. Essentially this was a case of the Lore article being misread and the attack improperly being used. @Malon

Can confirm that this is the case here. The thread you linked, Nightfall, Wyck is indeed only Level 3 when it happens; but the blast is much smaller (focused at only a single target), and he doesn't use the other powers you mentioned until a subsequent round. To project a blast of Force light large enough to hit three targets at once, and also harm them (indicating it is Level 3 or above in strength), is massively taxing—stacking that on top of a Force crush, which requires focus to maintain (meaning it isn't self-maintaining) means that the strain on his mind would be unimaginable. He'd likely be unconscious afterwards. @Nightfall096 @Korvo @Sreeya

I'm sorry guys, this is just bad luck. My father just had a seizure, I'm going to be in the hospital until I know what's going on.

I might still be able to participate if he turns out okay, but it's not looking good and he's my priority over everything right now.

We do sometimes make allowances for major and unexpected life events- normally, that means capture instead of death. Since this fight is a group effort on both sides, if you need to bow out then Aliyah can be considered incapacitated and her fate will depend upon the outcome of the battle.

As a reminder, this battle is still ongoing and, whoever's turn it is, the timer is still going as well.

See above. My father had a stroke, I will be taking care of my youngest sister and mother while Morri stays at the hospital. Chances are he's not coming out of the coma they induced him in. I'm not really in a fit state to work right now, let alone try and focus on fighting. If that's what has to happen, I don't mind.

No one's asking you to post. I'm shocked you're even here posting tbh. However, the rules clearly state that in the event of IRL emergencies, chars are considered captured with an opportunity to have a rescue attempt for when you can return to posting (and that's only if a capture happens which it would only if the Sith win). You are never allowed to simply bow out of a pvp altogether. That has never been historically, and will never be, allowed. Regardless of personal situations, the rest of the fight goes on as normal and it's far too late to do any replacements.

I gotta deal with all my responsibilities first. Morri is at the hospital right now with him. I walked out of work when I heard, messaged when I got home before driving off. Wanted to let you guys know, today I'm pretty much sitting around waiting to hear whether he'll wake up or not. This is keeping me distracted.

That's entirely up to you. With the 72 hours for each side, that means people post as per their convenience. It doesn't need to be restricted to posting order, just per side. This is to ensure that one person can't take their time and mess it up for the rest of the team. You can post whenever and aren't required to stick to a posting order as long as it's within your side.
