Multiple Questions.

I'll lay them out nice and simply so potential answers don't get confusing. Please label answers according with the questions ^^;

a) If a character is created pre-timeskip, and then timeskip occurs, what happens in term of rank for the character, given that they are potentially old/skilled enough to advance rank?

a) ii) If the timeskip has no affect on rank, are there any Jedi able to take me on as a Padawan? :CHappy

b) I want to create a Bounty Hunter/Assassain. Are there any links to current technology available, or do I just submit the weaponry/equipment and follow people's feedback on if it is available during the time period? I'm not a fan of trawling through loads of other Bounty Hunters to compile a list of possible equipment.

b) ii) Specifically, if anyone knows if there are any types of wrist mounted grappling hook (possibly with a strong magnet or something on the end), assault rifles, automatic pistols and what types of Vibro-weapons are available.

c) What Bounty Hunter factions are recruiting now and post timeskip?

A- Rank advancement isn't guaranteed, but is up to the discretion of the faction leader. In the case of a new character, it is unlikely to see a promotion.

B- Equipment/character creation is pretty much a 'do it and if people see a problem they'll tell you' sort of thing. There's no formal application for technology.

B(2)- Same goes for weapons, there is no site-wide tech thread. However, checking out the Hutt Engineering thread might be a way to get a rough estimate of where our tech stands. Those are the newest military weapons.

C- The Bounty Hunter's Guild is always recruiting.

a) Since the timeskip happens at the end of this week, it might be better to wait.

a ii) I don't have a Jedi, but I will post timeskip, so if you still need one then just send me a PM.

b) There's a loose introduction to this timeline's tech in the Story forum, but it's very loose. Feedback will generally give you an idea of whether or not your character's acceptable.

b ii) All of those are available with the possible exception of the wrist-mounted grappling hook. It would be fine without the magnet though.

c) The Bounty Hunter's guild, but they're somewhat inactive. The Hutts have bounties posted. Mostly bounty-hunting is just freelancing and just doing as you desire... though I did have plans to make the criminal underground a bit more active post timeskip.

I'd be glad to take you up on that offer in the future, I think I'll take a break until the Timeskip before I start posting with my character.

Also, I don't mind helping out with any ideas for some form of active Criminal Orginization, as I tend to find them more interesting than the hierarchal structures of the Force Sensitive organizations. Technology is also more interesting than the Force, imo.
