Naval Characters?

Okay, so i'm thinking about coming back here to play, and i'm wondering...

Just how much play could I get out of, a fighter pilot, or captain, etc etc? How often is anything Naval involved in any way?

Well, i'm using a pilot, i know someone else just recently told me they made a dedicated pilot. There are lots of fleets and fleet commanders around. All of the chiss like their ships. So, The 'potential' for lots of space combat is very high. Though actively there is currently not much.

I have a TIE pilot, but he doesn't see much activity.

Naval officers like captains and admirals I've somewhat activity in, but pilots not so much.
