GUARDIAN PATTERN BOLT PISTOL.

Awarded during his third century secondment to the Deathwatch, over it's time in Lyros has modified and customised the weapon further fitting a Narthecuium chain blade as an under slung attachment, the pistol is fitted like many deathwatch weapons with a specialist round selector giving Lyros the option of switch ammunition types in combat.

MK. IV THUNDER EDGE PATTERN CHAINSWORD
- Aloni's Fury-

A relic from the Horus heresy believed to have been wielded by Cpatain Aloni Tev during the Dropsite Masacre during the Heresy, Lyros was awarded the sword for services during the 13th Black Crusade for his actions during that campaign. The teeth of the chainsword are fashioned from an unknown material but have never dulled in it's long service.

NARTHECUIUM

Lyros' Naryhecuium is a heavily customised peice of equipment featuring enhanced bore dril capable of penetrating terminator armour.

MK IV. MAXIMUS POWER ARMOUR

Lyros was gifted with the suit of Maxmus armour when he was seconded to the death watch it still bears the deathwatch apothecary pauldron in place of his Chapter Apothecary pauldron.

BIOGRAPHY

Lyros was a typical initiate into the Death Scythes, young and afraid he soon found he calling rising quickly through the scouts he became a squad leader and looked set to become an exemplary officer of the chapter, a naturally commanding presence and confidence beyond even that of normal space marines it was not until after his first century in service as a battle brother did his interest in the path of the Apothecary change the manifest destiny of his life.

As an apothecary he is forward and abrupt, and strides into battle without fear to minister to the needs of his battle brothers, a stern voice of reason to his commanding officers stands aside of his battle brothers as a neutral party for voicing concerns and disputes.

PERSONALITY

Can appear unapproachable to those outside of the squad like an overly stern father figure tempered with a boiling rage beneath the surface, yet to those within the squad or company he is highly perception and protective seeking both their physical and mental well being.

COMBAT AESTHETIC

As a scion of Corax he exemplifies the Primarch's teachings of stealth and the coordinated assault, though he is not beyond the direct approach especially if one of his brothers need his attention.

Kratos is a hunter, a stalker and a killer he always has been even before he came to the attention of the Sith there has always been a darkness about him, a hunger to seek out the nightmares of the galaxy to find them and bring them under his dominion, confident and eager to prove himself he will throw himself into any challenge with zeal and pleasure.

Nothing is sacred to Kratos he is little more than a wild animal, he has no respect for the old ways, or desire to recreate the empire he just wants to see the galaxy burn for the pleasure of seeing it burn.

As a child Kratos had the natural drive to be the best, to be the smartest, the strongest the fastest, he had no fear standing up to bullies twice his age and three times his size, he took his fair share of beatings but they on sereved to flame the flames of his desire to be better, better however did not nessisarily lead to being a good man, he learnt quickly that respect came quicker if you were feared than if you were liked, with that desire to be feared and respected he turned to crime starting as a small time pick pocket it quickly grew boring for him and he moved onto more elaborate crimes, robbery, muggings and eventually violence became second nature to him. Ruthlessness followed and he found himself climbing the ladder of crime. By the time the sacred band of Zoist discovered him he had amassed a sizeable criminal empire. Seeing the opportunity to become even more than he was he joined the sacred band.

It was shortly after this time that he came to the attention of a Sith Assassin, seeing the ruthlessness of him and sensing something lurking beneathe the surface he set about unconvinced the truth of Kratos, through torture and pain Kratos' force potential was realised, all of his life he had been tapping into the force now with guidance of a Sith Master he has learnt how to bend the force to his will to further strengthen and enhance his natural talents

The Tortured Man

Appearance

There is something deeply unsettling about The Tortured Man, he radiates with darkness to such a degree that many find it unsettling, combined with the smooth visage of the bone line mask he always wears which seems stained with blood like tears he presents an unpleasant appearance to those onlookers.

He is always dressed in fine clothing and shrouded with a black light weight hooded coat, the materials of all of his garments appear to have resistances to chemical and fire as well as providing some limited protection from blasters.

The Tortured Man carries himself with the grace of a dancer light on his feet with almost an ethereal quality, he is thin for a man of his height, many would say gaunt and sickly but his strength undermines that perception for he is little more that muscle mass carry virtually no excess weight to him, rarely seen eating or drinking he seems to thrive of the power of the force alone.

Skills and Abilities

The Tortured Man is force sensitive his body radiates dark energy, his abilities in the force are primarily in the mental field, reading thoughts, taking over minds, causing fear and irrational terror in his enemies, he is able to exploit an opponents greatest fears against them manifesting illusions and magics to change his battle field, but that is not his only master field he is also able to dissipate energies and has been known to able to block an opponents lightsabers with his bare hands though this is the extreme end of the power it is commonly used to block blasters and attacks similar to force lighting.

Beyond his force abilities the Tortured Man is a skilled pilot, possessing his own personalised star fighter he based off the Zoist Hunter and while it is heavily personalised to his needs it does not deviate from the standard Hunter armaments or base design.

It is also known that the Tortured Man is a acrobat displaying a natural talent before any enhancement, this may explain his dancers grace but it is speculated that before his time within the Sith Empire that he was in fact an entertainer of some skill.

Background

No one is quite sure of the Tortured Man's origins he first appeared in the heyday of the Old Empire prior to the fall in service to Lord Scillia and fought during the last war it was assumed that he had perished along with Lord Scillia and his conclave of fanatics but has recently reappeared upon the streets of Korriaban

The little information in records about him speaks of a victim of Scillia's experiments to create the perfect assassin, a creature obsessed with death and destruction, to be unleashed upon his masters enemies to lay waste without mercy, there are further reports that suggest the he was a abject failure in that regard and was kept by Scillia in the role of man servant, what ever the truth is The Tortured Man does not an will not speak of it, he has shown open disdain for the the New Sith Order and has instead allied himself with the Sacred Band of Zoist.

Possessions

The Tortured Man uses a pair of matching Lightsabers their core material is constructed from a Phrik alloy surrounded by rancor rangs cleaned and shaped into to the grips. both blades a red in colour.

Alongside these the Tortured Man carries an abundance of blades and other weapons, including a pair of snub nosed blasters and a collection of grenades.
