Name: Nedan
Coordinates: O-7
Climate: Nedan holds a rather humid and hot climate, this is in part due to the thickness of it's atmosphere. The planet it's self experiences three different seasons, Winter, Fall, and Summer. The two separate continents go through these seasons in an opposing fashion meaning when one continent is in the depths of winter, the other will be in the midst of summer.
Terrain: Nedan is covered in a dense jungle, the oxygen levels paired with the immense amount of water found under the surface allows for plant and wildlife to grow to monstrous sizes.
Rotation: During the Summer the sun is on a set continent for 20 hours of a 24 hour standard day, meaning the opposing fact is true for that same continent during winter. The rotation of the planet effects the growth of the plants on said continents, during winter the land becomes a frozen wasteland, during summer the land flourishes.
Inhabitants: There is a current Semi-sentient race of Scarab-like being that have taken dominance over the surface of both continents. This race uses the other insectiod races as either a slave force or as beasts of burden. This race has a single hivemind queen that disperses orders via pheromones
Resources: Nedan's ability to produce a bountiful yield of crops is what makes it a Target for the Fett clan.
Government: Currently, it is ruled by a queen insectiod. So, monarchy.
Economy: None
Culture: Serve the Queen, extend her reach.
Technology: The civilization here is in a naturalistic stage, using their bodies and basic weapons created from their surroundings to wage war.
Satellites: A Single asteroid, which serves as the Fett forward base.
History: Before the rise of these scarab beings, Nedan was an untouched paradise. However as the queen and hivemind evolved and became the unifying cause for this race they began to build an empire from which eventually spread over onto the surface in which they enslaved or domesticated most of the species on the surface. This allowed the race to not only spread it's empire but their influence and queen's will across a continent and eventually the entire planet.

I'm no admin, but I have to point out several flaws with this.

First of all, beskar. Only two locations have been known to contain it. Mandalore, and it's moon of Concordia. Concordia containing Beskar can be explained by the fact that it was likely created in the same way as Earth's moon was, during a cosmic collision between Mandalore and some other celestial object, and thus beskar was spread between Mandalore and Concordia.

Secondly, the location. O-9 is the Hapes Cluster. The Fett's having a planet there would be extremely suicidal. Not only would you bring the wrath of the entire Hapes Cluster, a faction in it's own right, but you'd also bring down the Galactic Alliance down upon your heads.

For the beskar bit, that is how I originally planned it on Nedan as well, however I am just going to remove that bit. Simply because if Beskar would have been there the Mandalorians would have settled there long ago.

As for the coordinates a COMPLETE typo :S must have either accidentally hit the "9" key last night or my phone's screen hit it for me, either way FIXED.

I love this idea of a planet for Clan Fett to colonize. Not just because the colonizing itself will have an awesome roleplaying opportunity or ten, but also because the Fetts are badass and deserve a spaceball to live on of their own.

One thing strikes me, though - won't this planet become isolated if the Mandalorian people get Mandalore back and decide to move the civilization there?


(Do note that I'm assuming O7 is somewhere near Roon. I fail to locate a map where I can figure out the exact location, though I might just be lazy. >_> )
