Andara. Kyi & Aurelie's Cottage. Local time: 19:15
"That should be enough" The girl spoke quietly to herself whilst humming on a calm lullaby she remembered hearing a lot during her time on Ryloth - her father had never really been the lullaby type. The fireplace finally had what she deemed to be enough firewood. With a spark, the thief lit a match and lit a larger stick on fire before throwing the match in. She then proceeded to use the smaller stick to start separate fires in various places. The soft hums ceased for a few moments as she started blowing on the little flames, slowly starting to give it more life. Continuing the Twi'lek lullaby, Aurelie smiled softly as the fire started to have its own life.
It had been a few weeks since they had fought off the two exiles and it had only gotten colder since then. While she did wear a rather large red shirt, the fire would also work to keep the warm. Besides, the sparkling sound the wood made along with the soothing sound of the flames were always a comfort to her. Her eyes drifted over to the table which was covered by different sweets, mainly chocolates, as well as some biscuits and a tray of grapes. A bottle of alcohol free wine stood on the table with two empty glasses next to it. Three candles on top of a plate on the table shone peacefully, making the middle of the room just a little less dark. A bright smile spread across her face as put her hands together "It's perfect!" she said, looking over at Scrappy standing by the door to the kitchen. "If you say so, master" the droid's response was curt, far from how he usually sounded.
"Master, is this really necessary?" he asked, causing her to look him over - the red shirt she had put on him looked good too. "You don't like it?" she asked concerned, saying 'no' to her now would make even the coldest of droids feel guilty. After an unreasonably long response time, Scrappy finally spoke "It limits my combat functionality" which caused Aurelie to let out a light laugh. "It won't come to that" she said, quite confident that she was correct.
Knowing that the man she loved was about to arrive, Aurelie picked up a blanket from the couch and wrapped it around her shoulders. She was about to brave the cold. Before that, she had a quick check on the food in the oven, letting loose the most wonderful aromas as she opened it. With her right hand rubbing softly across her belly, the girl walked to the entrance and took on her boots before heading out. Leaving their warm home wasn't very pleasant as the cold made its presence known at record speeds. She shuddered and pulled the blanket tighter around her shoulders.
At this moment, however, the cold was far from her main concern. While happy and joyful that she'd now get to meet Kyi again, Aurelie was nervous. There were so many things to be nervous about that she barely knew where to start. The closer it got to his arrival, the more of her nervousness started to turn into fear. These feelings would, however, be momentarily swept away as soon as she saw his freckled face after he had swept in with the Malla fighter.
