New arrival, Dezenia's training
The room was filled with a soft humming from the running engines and it was quite cool in the compartment. Cooler than she was use to. The ship was larger then most ship she had ever been on and she was aware that she was far from the only passenger on it. She looked to the Bothan who she shared the compartment with, she was sound asleep with the covers on the floor. Dezenia smirked. She was rather cold but she couldn’t blame the hairy female for not wanting more heat. She decided to get some sleep herself as she was unaware of how long it would take. It was her first time doing space travels.
It was raining hard on the spaceport of Ossus and many where seeking shelter from the brutal rain. Odd enough the sun still emitted small rays of light through the thick clouds. A large passenger ship broke the skyline as it was manoeuvring itself into a large dock set in the far south side of the spaceport. It had a rather harsh landing which caused the water on the floor to emerge in a cascade of sparkling drops of water and soaking everything in a 20 yard radius. It wasn’t long before the passenger was moving out of the vessel, stretching their legs from the flight. The last to exit was a figure wrapped in a brown, wore down rope, with a big hood covering its head. Dezeria stopped and looked at her feet. The edge of the robe was getting darker as it soaked the water from the ground. The humidity gave her a feeling of drowning, but the air was clean and fresh like the water had swept the dirt away. Her homeplanet of Ryloth was a dry place where rain didn’t fall and the difference made her pause for a bit. She held a pair of pink delicate hands out and looked as the raindrops rolled down her hands and soaked her sleeves. She gave a small smile and continued her journey.
When she finally arrived at the jedi temple her breath was rasping and she was soaked. It had stopped raining but the sun hadn’t completely broken free from the clouds. The humidity had tired her faster then she had expected it could and the small trip had sucked the energy out of her, leaving her feeling tired and irritable. It hadn’t taken her long to find directions to the temple and discover that it was there you went to learn about the force. She had been surprised at the overflow of plant and animal life on the planet and was looking forward to the trip to the temple to discover more of the strange planet.
